I don't think I've ever seen anyone try to speak anything into existence more than you trying to speak McCarthy being replaced by Quinn into existence.
Not strange at all to bring in a random offensive assistant who has multiple direct ties to Quinn and no ties to McCarthy.
It may be nothing but if they wanted to make Quinn the HC after next year it'd be a seamless transition.
I don't really care one way or the other at this point, I just suspect that there's a reason Quinn keeps coming back and with McCarthy getting near the end of his contract all it might take is one more disappointing playoff performance coupled with another strong defensive year for it to happen.I don't think I've ever seen anyone try to speak anything into existence more than you trying to speak McCarthy being replaced by Quinn into existence.
You're just not gonna let that go huh?
Well, the Sean Payton dream is gone. Had to find something else, I guess.I don't think I've ever seen anyone try to speak anything into existence more than you trying to speak McCarthy being replaced by Quinn into existence.

I've been saying that Quinn might supplant McCarthy since about week 4 of last year, and there's probably at least a 1/3 chance it happens. Like I said, I don't give a shit either way at this point, but something seems fishy knowing how this organization operates.Well, the Sean Payton dream is gone. Had to find something else, I guess.
I’m hoping that dumping these slow developing routes actually help Dak become a better passer, as he’s simply not going to recycle thru any of his progressions. It’s such an unstoppable play when you have a QB with reading skills, accuracy, and arm strength on the same page as a well-coached WR corps
Might be what the doctor ordered for Dak since you always have a read and throw option without needing to wait for plays to develop
Key with McCarthy is 1) Don’t forget to run and 2) Don’t go empty backfield in key situations.

Will Harriger joined the USC staff in February of 2022 as a senior offensive analyst working with the quarterbacks.
Harriger, 39, spent 2021 as an offensive assistant coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence set franchise rookie records for completions and passing yards, while wide receiver Marvin Jones caught a team-best 73 passes.
Harriger was with the Atlanta Falcons in 2019, serving as an offensive assistant, and 2020, when he began as a game management coordinator before transitioning to running backs coach for the season’s final 12 weeks. Running back Todd Gurley ran for 678 yards with 9 TDs in 2020 and fellow running back Brian Hill rushed for a career-best 465 yards.
Before that, he spent 5 seasons (2014-18) with the Seattle Seahawks. He was an offensive assistant his first 2 seasons, then was promoted to assistant quarterbacks coach for the final 3 years. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 11,650 yards and 90 touchdowns during those 3 seasons, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2017 and 2018 and leading the league in passing TDs in 2017.
Prior to his time in the NFL, Harriger spent 10 years coaching in college. He was at Florida for 2 seasons (2012-13) as a graduate assistant.
He spent 2 seasons (2010-11) at Texas Tech, the first as a defensive staff assistant (he served as interim linebackers coach in the 2010 TicketCity Bowl) and the second as a defensive graduate assistant working with the inside linebackers.
He was the linebackers coach at Tennessee-Martin in 2009, his second stint there. Linebacker Josh Bey made the All-Ohio Valley first team.
In 2008, he was a defensive quality control assistant at Texas, working with the linebackers. Texas finished ranked No. 4 in the nation. The Longhorns led the Big 12 in rush defense (third nationally), total defense and scoring defense.
He was a defensive administrative assistant at Auburn, his alma mater, in 2007, working with the linebackers. The Tigers finished ranked No. 15 while leading the SEC in scoring defense and placing second in the league in both total defense and pass defense.
He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Midwestern State in 2004 and 2005 (working with the outside linebackers). Midwestern State won the Lone Star Conference co-champion in 2004, reached the NCAA Division II playoffs for the first time in school history and was fourth nationally in rush defense. He then became a graduate assistant at Tennessee-Martin in 2006.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Auburn in 2004.
He prepped at Trinity Christian (Tex.) High.
He was born on June 20, 1982. He and his wife, Brooke, have 2 children, Daisy and Bud.
For a guy who has been around a long time his career hasn't progressed much.He looks like a guy dressed up to convince the court that he's not actually a deadbeat dad despite what that lying bitch is trying to tell you.
They are digging deep.
On one hand we get frustrated because the ownership won’t find young or less experienced coaches to groom and bring in new ideas but we are unhappy because our assistant OL coach doesn’t have extensive experience. They are digging deep.

It is kinda strange that the link to the current administration is via Quinn and not MM or Schottenheimer.

The OL is pretty important. It makes me wonder what an assistant over a relatively poor Bronco OL a year removed from high school is going to bring to the table. On one hand we get frustrated because the ownership won’t find young or less experienced coaches to groom and bring in new ideas but we are unhappy because our assistant OL coach doesn’t have extensive experience.
That's just an article from the Atlanta paper when Quinn was there. He was with Schottenheimer more than Quinn. He was at Seattle for several years (after Quinn left), then went to Jax with Schottenheimer. It is kinda strange that the link to the current administration is via Quinn and not MM or Schottenheimer.
I think an assistant to a position coach is more of a helper and learner than a real coach. The OL is pretty important. It makes me wonder what an assistant over a relatively poor Bronco OL a year removed from high school is going to bring to the table.
