The fact that Jokic won back to back MVPs and may win his third this season is absurd. Embiid just put him in his place yesterday.

Jokic is a good player but Embiid, Giannis, Doncic, Durant, and Curry are all better. Maybe others also.

:lol

I really want to see him traded to the Lakers. Not because I want to see the Lakers get better, but because they'd surely have to send Westbrook in return and a lineup that includes Westbrook and Simmons would be high, high comedy.

I'm a little disappointed that my dream of a Westbrook and Simmons lineup won't happen, but the theoretical LeBron meltdown is probably worth it. :lol

I'm happy that the Lakers lost the game LeBron became the all time leading scorer. I'm petty like that.
Watching that game it felt like the Lakers were more focused on getting Lebron the record than actually playing to win the game.

We don't have a single player on our roster who is capable of slowing down Anthony Davis, yet for some reason the Lakers chose to freeze him out of their offense most of the night.

If Darvin Ham had half a brain, AD would have went for 30+ points and Lebron probably would have got his record as well.

Another Celtics/76ers game, another Celtics win.

3/5 starters miss the game, Jaylon Brown exits early, Tatum with a slow shooting night and they still take care of business.

ho hum

Something is missing with the Sixers. I don't quite know what it is, but I just don't view them as serious contenders.

It's probably Doc Rivers.

Wild day in the NBA so far with more to come.

Brooklyn has about 4 quality wings who pretty much play the same position. So I expect them to make another move or two before the day is done. It feels like the Nets are just making it up as they go.

Their biggest problem when facing Boston seems to be Embiid. 2 games, both without Robert Williams and one without Horford and his numbers are pedestrian. Sounds strange when he went for 26 and 15 and then 28 and 7 last night, but he's doing it against Blake Griffin and Luke Kornet. He should be dominating and he isn't.

Durant traded to Phoenix and the Suns were able to keep Ayton and Paul from the deal.

Well, this season was fun while it lasted.

Embiid is nowhere near the problem.

Check out the work from Harris, Maxey, and Harrell last night and that pretty much sums it up.

Role players. Sure they need to show up, but the star needs to dominate. Had Boston not pulled it out last night, Tatum's shooting was clearly going to be the reason, despite the injuries.

Embiid should be going for 40+ against Kornet.
