Seems clear that they want a "run game coordinator" type. The only question is whether or not that person will be given an "OC" title.

How is this new dude better than Philbin? He seemed to do pretty good job with Tyler Smith, and in transitioning Tyron Smith to RT.Wouldn't be shocked if we just ended up with a run game coordinator and pass game coordinator with no singular OC.
But yea, there weren't a bunch of top notch OL coaches hanging around. Maybe Munchak although I'm not sure he's a clear upgrade over Solari.

With a few exceptions, the whole fucking NFL is just a merry-go-round, shuffling the same old retreads around.

2012. Impressive.
If Mike is calling plays, so be it.Wouldn't be shocked if we just ended up with a run game coordinator and pass game coordinator with no singular OC.

They will probably grab the most desperate one.Probably Rooney rule guys is my guess.
I doubt it. He is kind of fucking old, so they will probably leave him alone with just the OL.If Mike is calling plays, so be it.
So would the assumption be that Solari fills one of those roles?
I'm hoping the power of the booze pessimism makes something great happen in the OC development.I doubt it. He is kind of fucking old, so they will probably leave him alone with just the OL.
These other positions will be filled by Schottenheimer's kid and the Muppet. There are too many dots that are connecting.
I am about this close to Brady Bottle Locking it.I'm hoping the power of the booze pessimism makes something great happen in the OC development.
Thigh slap vid if it's someone else? These other positions will be filled by Schottenheimer's kid and the Muppet. There are too many dots that are connecting.
It's Bradie!I am about this close to Brady Bottle Locking it.
The stakes have never been higher.Thigh slap vid if it's someone else?
If you think about it, who in the 'young minds' category would Fat Mike be aware of and or connected in any way to?They will probably grab the most desperate one.
I am also pretty sure these are one year deals, tied into McCarthy's shelf life.
All in all, I don't like the way this is heading with the hires. I would have appreciated taking a run at a young mind, but instead we are getting the boring old band back together again from the way things are looking.
There isn't a lot of out of the box thinking from Fat Mike here. This is cover your ass time. And do recall, he thought Mike Nolan could still coordinate defense.
I was honoring the retirement of the Goat. It's Bradie!
Gosh
You sound like a damn fool when you say it wrong!!!
We step on goat throat /ironsheikI was honoring the retirement of the Goat.
Bill Callahan? He's the Browns' OL coach... bring him in and give him the OC title.Seems clear that they want a "run game coordinator" type. The only question is whether or not that person will be given an "OC" title.
