In a related story, Stephen Jones just picked his underwear out of his ass crack and then smelled his fingers.
Extending Dak now, like in the next 3-4 months, instead of waiting another 2 years would be a smart proactive way to get some flexibility but knowing this moron he's going to wait until about this time in 2024 to start negotiations.

This morning my local Fox station was replaying one of those Deep Blue shows on the draft over the years. This might old news to everyone, but I thought it was pretty cool that when the Micah pick was up, Jerry asks Mike before they make the call, "Now this guy can really help your defense, right?"

And Mike says, "Yes, the two offensive linemen are fine players, but I really think Parsons is the pick."

Don't think the last guy would have said that because it wasn't helping "his" side of the ball.

They will need to address it, but they better get some talent at DT and some CB depth first. Last few times this team has lost in the playoffs it's been directly because the DTs sucked.
Need a big fat NT (re-sign Hankins?) and a dynamic 3T.
Yeah, I just need one DT that can be the dude. Oddiggy is solid, and the other guys are playable. But we need a guy who can sort of be a force and require attention in the middle.

I'm not overly worried about corner but I'm shooting for value in the middle rounds. Give me more Bland type picks.

Other than that you just have to let some of the young guys grow. Wright might actually be salvageable. Clark will get there. Just takes some time for the young dudes to grow. We will get guys like Lewis back next year (If he is still under contract or resign him cheap).

Does it matter that we've beaten so many teams with a winning record this year? Seems like in past years people have argued that well, yeah, we've won a lot of games but we've only beaten one or two teams with a winning record... followed by the counter that that's the case for a lot of winning teams, you can only play who's on your schedule, etc.

I made the same point yesterday or the day before.
