I'd be fine rolling with Quinn at HC if he hires literally anybody from the Rams, 49ers, Bengals, Vikings or Packers to be OC.

Not ideal but I'd prefer it to the farcical existence McCarthy is leading at the moment.

Is it wrong to analogize this to a hijacking where the team is the plane and we're the passengers?

It's about right but I prefer the metaphor of North Korea, not just because of the hostage dynamic of the general public, but the way the Jones family walls themselves off from the outside world/influences and surrounds themselves with sycophants in order to protect their power/prestige.

Kim Jerry-un. Has a nice ring to it. Actually, the Joneses are the new Ford family. The difference is that the Fords have a side business that's successful.

CeeDee strikes me more as a Calvin Ridley than a Julio Jones. He might be an Ok 1 and a good 2 but he is not going to take over ball games like any of the other 88s

There's a huge difference between spending vs. spending well or spending strategically.

The ultimate irony is that this moron is more than happy to extend Jaylon Smith or Blake Jarwin but is afraid to give Von Miller 18/year instead of 14.

You’re saying if it were your decision, part of your requirement is that Moore’s head rolls. And your preferred candidates are listed .

Because Smith and Jarwin were Cowboys picks/finds, so to him extending them validates his position as a personnel man.

Moore has to be gone no matter what, if they can claw their way back into the playoffs this year I'd be ok giving McCarthy one more year but ultimately if this season goes the way I expect I think they need a clean slate either with Quinn, Payton or a yet to be named HC.

The problem is that the people running this organization never think outside the box and love to limit their options, so they'd never hire a guy like Brandon Staley or Matt LaFleur, it seemingly has to either be a "homegrown" young guy or an established vet with skins on the walls.
