The problem is that the people running this organization never think outside the box and love to limit their options, so they'd never hire a guy like Brandon Staley or Matt LaFleur, it seemingly has to either be a "homegrown" young guy or an established vet with skins on the walls.

They are incapable of understanding the game well enough to take that kind of risk with the brand.

Homegrown and veteran coaches are easier sells to our ignorant fanbase.
