Are you relocating cross country or just downsizing?

We went out and looked at apartments today, just to see what we were dealing with.

I will say without question that apartment rentals are a way bigger scam than I remember from 30 years ago.

They nickel and dime the shit out of everything.

Fuck that.

Renting a house in the sticks. Or just buying the fucking land with a POS property on it, live in that and then build.

The rental market is absurd everywhere I would suppose.

Good luck on the showing this morning, booze.

I encourage you to slap your thigh and shout to the heavens, "wooooo!!! Can you dig it!?!?!" as they enter the Cowboys shrine room.

Yeah, well it was "It was lovely, but they found something that fit their needs better"

This house is too goddamn big.

I dunno about the slappin' thighs thing.

I am going to give it about two months on the market.

If nothing, then I am selling it to a predatory real estate group that will pimp it out as a rental.

How big is it, and how much do you want for it. My wife has always wanted to move to the Carolinas.

Maybe we could be neighbors...

I want to pull a couple hundred grand from someone soft in the head for 550K. I hope some dumb ass yankee bites.

You got land sense, no good for you.

I am committed to the land and build thing now.
That's the way to go. Don't rush into anything. Make up your mind to what you're looking for in the land, and don't compromise on it. You can tweak your thinking with the buildings and whatnot, because that shit can be changed. The land can't.

Btw... I wasn't serious about the moving to the Carolinas thing.

I only wanted to plant the thought of us being neighbors with the Ramsay Bolton image in your mind. :art

The whole area I live around is exploding with developments and it is a bit overwhelming when looking at property.

Everywhere we have ever lived it was like we moved there when it was semi-okay, then the fucking urbanites invaded.

Some of the land here is dirt cheap, but on a flood plain whatever.

Then you have big commercial swaths just right through it.

I am thinking about just buying up these lots at 50/60 K and just hanging on, get a cheaper property to live on temporarily.

This is weird and addicting. Like gambling.
