1st rep is a little rough but clearly wins the other 2.
It depends on that first one. On a 3 step drop, he definitely loses. On a 7 step drop, Smith finally stonewalls him after a few steps back so the defender wouldn't have made it deep enough in the backfield to disrupt.

Houston needs a nickname. I'm sure booze agrees.

This was guaranteed the second they made that stupid Cooper trade. They brought all this bad luck on themselves by making a retarded move to pinch a few pennies (or because they were being petty and annoyed because he missed a game because he was unvaccinated).

I'm still hopeful this guy bounces back.
He was really good in the 49ers playoff game, arguably his best of the year, and I think injuries have always been his main issue.

2018 he was awesome, 2019 he missed most of the year with the neck injury, 2020 the whole defense was all over the place and he also missed nearly half the season. Last year he was finally healthy seemingly, started off in a rotational role but as the year went on he solidified himself as a full-time player and seemed to get better as the year went on.

And if you believe the camp reports it sounds like he's still ascending.

Let's also not forget that he had 3 different DC's 3 years in a row (2019, 2020, 2021) after his rookie year.

So long story short, I think the guy still has borderline Pro Bowl upside, it's just a matter of staying healthy and getting comfortable in what his role is.
