Wonder what NFL’s testing here. How late East Coast fans will stay up to watch football?

Im all for two MNF, but odd it isn’t west coast teams for later game starting at ~10 EST to reduce overlap.

These two games are one hour apart, so big overlap

Yeah, why would they overlap like that? Defeats the whole purpose of a non-Sunday game, having all eyeballs on the one game.

Now that I think about it, it's almost like they put the good game on for the upper class paying customers and a lesser game on for the poor proles who have to watch with an antenna.

I wonder if this isn't some kind of test case for the future. Like, if the lesser game gets better ratings than they expect, maybe they should use ABC more.

ABC used to have MNF at 9EST, so this is essentially return to the past.

FOX: Get lost, Troy. People will watch our games regardless of the announcers.
Also FOX: Welcome, Tom! Here's $25M bucks!

MEANWHILE....
The NFL is adding a unique twist to their schedule for the 2022-23 season, there will be a Monday Night Football doubleheader in Week 2. However, unlike previous seasons, a portion of both games will be airing at the same time.

In the first game on Sept. 19, the Tennessee Titans take on the Buffalo Bills at 7:15 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

In the second game, the Minnesota Vikings are scheduled to face the Eagles in Philadelphia. That game is slated to start at 8:30 p.m. ET & will be shown on ABC.
