A total disaster of a pick. I have no idea what the hell his deal is, but it is cool it makes the Giants suffer.

He will probably end up as a Chief.
Talented dude but has a screw loose. I guess they get a free do over with the pick now.

They could've had Rashawn Slater, who ultimately is probably going to end up better than either of their top 10 picks.
Yeah Slater would have been great for them. I don't feel bad at all. Slater also would have wasted a year of his career with that dumpster team.

He is a pretty good WR. Not special but probably right up there with any of our guys not named Lamb. I'd consider trading for him if we don't intend to take a WR in the first few rounds.
I assume you mean he's right there with the others until Gallup comes back.

Yeah although I don't know if he is that far off from Gallup. Catch rate is pretty close for the most part, ypc is pretty close. Obviously Gallup was playing with a far superior QB. But Slayton in his first two seasons had 700+ yards a catch rate in the 50's, and 15+ YPC. Gallup makes the more difficult catches but Slayton is a more explosive WR. Gallup's 2019 season is what would presumably make him better. But his other 3 seasons are about on par statistically with Slayton.

The Giants are not going to trade in the division.

This is probably true. Plus he is kind of redundant of Gallup. Low catch percentage like Gallup but big play guy. We really need a route runner like Cooper who can catch 65-70 % of the balls thrown his direction. Washington is more like Gallup too. We desperately need the great route runner who Dak can rely on.

This is a huge indication that they are ready to move on.

22 million is nothing for a franchise QB nowadays. The franchise tag "if he plays well" is what, 35 million next year?

That's a big, big difference.

Which means they don't expect him to play well because if they did, they'd jump at the chance to pay him 22 million.

Holy fucking sheep shit.

That was the worst response to that question that he could have had. Wow.
