Claiborne was playing good until he got hurt but the injury is frustrating. As much shit as people give the player, we are a much better defense with him healthy.
His multiple defensive holding, illegal contact penalties per game only give up 5 yards at a time.

An average CB would give up the catch and the RAC.

Good...I need some fantasy points from Manning.

Huh.

Well it can't be based on reliable data. If it was, why doesn't the farmer's almanac just predict the daily weather? They can't do it more than like a week or ten days in advance.
It seems you are correct. At least according to this article, which claims the almanac should be taken with a grain of salt (essentially, the almanac's predictions are less accurate than mere chance).

Claiborne let up yardages of 22 and 21 and a penalty of 18 on one drive. He was also beaten on an overthrow on a previous drive.

Yeah he was wonderful.

That has as much to do with how really, really bad our backup corners are.

He gave up 40 yards and got a bullshit penalty...wow, killing it.

The average temp is around 30, so at the very least it will be cold. For me, I want to see the game won by talent, not the elements.
Oh yeah, it'll definitely be cold, probably windy too. A good running team would likely have an advantage.

The northeast has had a couple mild winters in a row. We are due for a rough one so it wouldn't surprise me at all to see some really bad weather during the super bowl.

Man. Broncos gave up a 24 point lead even quicker than the Cowboys did.

Manning looks like shit today. He keeps running the same run plays because he can't complete a pass to save his life. His passes all look wobbly and inaccurate.
The knock on him is that he's never been a good bad weather QB.

Yep he looks bad. I wondered if they'd be off tonight after having the huge game vs. KC last week. But then with all the turnovers and big lead didn't think it'd matter. But now they can't do anything.

Dez Bryant beats himself up after the fumble... and then helps beat the Giants

Dez Bryant was beating himself up after a fumble that cost the Cowboys 20 yards, though they kept the ball.

“I was heart broken,” Bryant said. “Our mindset was to come out and execute plays, dominate. I kind of started off slow, but I didn’t get too down on myself. I had to keep myself together because those guys were believing in me, and I was believing in me. I had to keep my composure and go out there and play my game.”

Early in the fourth quarter, with the Cowboys holding a 21-13 lead, Bryant's fumble went backward for a huge loss that left the Cowboys in a third-and-30 pickle.

Bryant was visibly upset when he returned to the bench, with defensive tackle Jason Hatcher and receivers coach Derek Dooley trying to console him.

"Dez is a dynamic player,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. “He makes a lot of plays for us. He has made a lot of plays for us for a long time. He made a bad play in the game [with the fumble], …and Dez is an emotional guy and some how and some way we got him focused on the task at hand.

“The best big-time players play big in the big-time moments, and he had three catches on the last drive, and it appeared he had a fourth catch. But he came up big. He gets a lot of attention from the opposing defense and showed up big on that drive. He did a hell of a job.”

Bryant finished with nine catches, including three in the team’s game-winning drive, for 102 yards. He had two drops and the fumble, which left him wanting more from himself.

"I’m very, very, very, very, very excited about the win,” Bryant said. “As far as my performance, it can be a lot better. I hold myself to a high standard. The guys in this locker room do, too. They stayed with me the whole game. Tony kept believing in me. You saw him keep going back to me, and we came out on top tonight.”
