I believe Joe Burrow’s fourth quarter stats were 5/9 for 49 yards. Zero points.

Probably not first ballot, but Von Miller locked up his HOF induction with that Super Bowl

2.0 sacks last night for 4.5 sacks total in two SB, along with one MVP

The Bengals made it that far thanks to their defense first and foremost, despite what the media and casual fans would have you believe. Burrow generally played well and made a few key plays but overall it was their defense that carried them.

They didn't score 30 once in 4 playoff games, and a good amount of their long pass plays came on catch and runs or screens. Burrow will only get better over time with better protection but his performance throughout these playoffs weren't anywhere near what you saw out of Mahomes in their 2019 run.

Yea although by a razor thin margin. If they didn't get an extremely ticky-tack call at the perfect time (just their luck!) they'd likely be about to lose a significant amount of the core of their roster with no picks to replenish it and nothing to show for it.
That pass interference call on Logan Wilson was complete garbage. The entire game the refs swallowed their whistles and allowed the game to be determined on the field. But in that moment they decide to call a ticky-tack penalty?

It reeked of a 'reputation call'.....calls that refs only make, or in some cases don't make, based on the the status and reputation of the player involved.

Loved it but those artists and songs hit my age range great.
Herbstreit pretty much cussed someone out last night on Twitter because they called him "Woke Herbie" after he talked about how great the halftime show was.

Herbie told the guy to STFU because that was music from his generation that he's always liked.

I thought it was a good show. Very relatable to me.

But our way will work. You'll see! :picard

Yeah it's too late now. We just have to hope old Jerry learned his lesson on another massive mistake. I didn't want to do the contract when we did it. And then guaranteeing next years salary was an even bigger fuckup. If we could at least get out from paying him next year you could cut him. Unfortunately he gets his salary regardless so we are just screwed.

Now we just have to hope it was all an injury this time. Not sure what the excuse was the previous year. Basically we are just stuck hoping and praying he can get back to 2019 form which is highly unlikely with RBs. All while we could probably draft a guy in the fourth round to do a better job at minimal cost.

But yet Dak's contract is supposedly what's causing the problems.

That's more on the OL than Burrow. Also, Boyd had a huge drop that would have extended a drive as well.

That Bengals OL needs to return whatever gifts Burrow gifted them this season.

I wonder if there has ever been a team to make a run to the Super Bowl with a worse starting OL.

Yeah you'll never find a halftime show that will make everyone happy. The game was pretty lame and felt like a Superbowl between two teams that won't be there again any time soon. So people focus more on the halftime show. I thought it was awesome but I'm 37. I think a lot of the folks in that age range listened to that music when they were younger. Older generations probably hated it. But if you choose an artist from their age range then the younger generations will hate it. And if you choose a current artist only the 20 somethings will probably like it.

The second half of that game was pretty much shit to watch from both sides. Some will chalk it up to "great defense" but if Dak played like that all second half he would be mocked as a massive failure. Stafford wasn't good either. Just felt like an off Superbowl.

Zac Wilson bought his linemen gifts for some reason. Once upon a time, guys like Emmitt bought Rolexes for his guys due to great success on the field. Now you're supposed to no matter what.
