The contrast is obvious. They were sucking for weeks there.
The stat they showed last night was pretty insane. At home our redzone offense is one of the best in the NFL. On the road it is one of the worst. Like the two stats weren't even close. I have no explanation for this but last night we weren't kicking field goals and the week before all we did was seem to kick field goals.

We play on the road the next 2 weeks, ruh roh.

Losing to Arizona would probably knock us down to the 4 seed, though, and we'd be staring a first round playoff rematch with them dead in the eye, so that's a game you really want to win if you don't want your season to end in embarassing fashion.
If we lose to them next week there's a 0.0% chance they'd beat us a second time in the first round.

I'm not willing to say that.
It'd also probably be 50/50 that we're the 3 seed vs. the 4, the Rams have the Ravens and 49ers to end the year and if they lose one of those we'd be the 3 seed, assuming we beat the Eagles of course.

You would think that but we have 2 road losses this year and 2 home losses this year. So as stark as the contrast is, it doesn't appear like it's really impacted the results in the games. Just sort of oddball quirk.

In an ideal world that 2 seed sounds great. You get the shittiest wild card team in the first round. The second round we play lets say the Rams, Bucs or a shitty wild card team at home. And then maybe you play the Packers in the NFC Championship game. Although I think the Bucs are a team that could knock them off in Green Bay. Brady knows cold weather games and is really good at them.

So yeah, that 2 seed is about perfect. If I'm being honest I don't really want the first round bye. Something about sitting on our asses for an extra week just feels like we would be one and done.

Man, I didn't even think of that

If we beat Philly anywhere close to 56-14 in their building...

Jesus Christ I'll be unbearable.
I’d settle for something in the 30s but you know Hurts takes lots of chances, so more opps for this defense to score.
We seem to be peaking about now.

I'm honestly excited to watch our defense every week now. I can't remember the last time I felt that way about the defense.

The Cards make me a little nervous but if we can contain Murray's legs I think the defense can handle the Cards offense.

It's not necessarily the best, but I think this is the most exciting Dallas defense I've ever seen. They are so dynamic and predatory. And gifted.

They'll give up some big plays, but they make their share of their own.

Presumably we are playing for seeding and will not rest our starters.
Point remains with this being an extra game for 17 game season. Zeke starting 16 games and probably not break 1,000 yards.

Thank goodness we 11-4
