I used to play Madden but NCAA football was always my game. I'd buy it in a heart beat if it ever came back.
Same here. I preferred the recruiting process over Madden's dynasty mode.

I'd always play as some lower-level FBS school like San Jose State or Western Michigan and turn them into a powerhouse.

That San Jose State job was tough. Even though I was winning it was a struggle to get 4-stars to come to my school. In a good recruiting cycle I'd pull two or three 4-star players at best. :lol

Yeah me and my friends would always start a dynasty where we were forced to pick some one or two star program to build up. It was a lot of fun. Recruiting against friends, playing against friends and all that.

We had a nice 6 or 7 person DCC league about 10 years ago. We were in the ACC. I know it was me, @Texas Ace, @Deuce, Geki, Bipo ( I think)....I can't remember who else was in the league.

I was in Germany at the time so sometimes it was a pain in the ass trying to find a good time to play against guys who were stateside.

It was truly a pleasure bustin’ all y’all’s asses with Georgia Tech while Roddy Jones took the Heisman.

So they obviously can't use players names or likeness. I wonder though if it will be like they used to do it. Where the height, weight and numbers matched the real players. And then you could just download the rosters from someone with the real names. I remember way back in the day going through and typing in the names of all the top real life players as well as the entire Hawkeye roster.

I haven't been on their board in a few years but there was a dedicated team of posters on the Operation Sports website who updated players' names and numbers to accurately match the real rosters of every college team....FBS and FCS.

They did it for both XBox and PS and the rosters were free to download for anyone who wanted to use them. That's where I always got my rosters. I assume there's plenty of guys around on that site who will do the same.

I had to write-in to the committee how Jamie Harper was robbed of that Heisman.

Speaking of which, would you be able to tell me who won the ACC in season 2?

That was a really good league as was our first Madden league.

Both of our first leagues were very fun to play in.

The good ol' days.

I think preliminarily they are developing as if there will not be likenesses, but I don't think that's set in stone yet. Things are changing everywhere that may soon allow college athletes to license their likenesses and if they do you know EA will jump on that.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear!

College Football back, awesome.
I haven't seen an official timeline yet but I saw someone mention that it'll probably be a couple of years before the game hits shelves.

There are going to be a lot of new dynamics that should add to the complexity of running your program in the new game.

Three things that immediately come to my mind are the transfer portal, grad transfers, and immediate eligibility.

Transfer portals: I assume this should be a big part of the game. It's basically become CFB's version of free agency. To add to the realism, 4 and 5-star players who aren't getting playing time should be guys who are high risks to transfer. I know in previous versions of NCAA they had some type of system where they'd ding you for breaking playing time promises, but it would only hurt your recruiting credibility. The player never transferred. Transferring has got to be an option going forward.

Grad transfers: Another real aspect of the game that was never included in previous versions of NCAA. They need to add this group of players to the available recruits pot. There were junior college guys but never grad transfers.

Immediate eligibility: If a player transfers from another program (not a grad transfer) it shouldn't be automatic that he's allowed to play the following season. EA needs to come up with a system where you have to lobby the NCAA for a waiver to allow transfers immediate eligibility. If your arguments aren't convincing the player should have to redshirt.

OK so I got the Blood and Wine expansion for the Witcher 3 and the final fight is a major b**ch. Amazing how well it holds up even from 2015.
It's probably the hardest fight of the entire game, expansions and all. You have to have perfect timing on the rolls out of the way, otherwise it's game over.

And then you have to start the fight ALL OVER again, including watching the damn cutscene.

Ghost of Tsushima is pretty damn good, been playing a ton since I’ve been quarantined with the ‘Rona.
