God damn bucktooth cousin fucking tooth impoverished redneck fucks.
Fisher is an idiot but is probably right whether someone told him as much or not. These fools have no respect or regard for using FA as a team building tool, they'd rather stick their collective heads in the dirt and sign 6 guys to 1 year deals for a total of 11 million every year in FA and pretend that they're the best drafting team around.

The abject refusal to participate in FA in anything other than the most cursory, inadequate, short-term manner is just one more reminder of how pathetic the ownership and general management of this team are and have been for the last quarter century.

Imagine how that conversation would go in the real world - "So, GShock, you have been decidedly mediocre for the past 25 years and looking over our records, it appears that you have produced at roughly the same level as a learning-disabled goldfish." "True, but my run from '92-'95 was epic. Let's talk about that..."

Real GMs look at free agency and know that it is another tool to achieve the results that stand between them and unemployment.

Our guy looks at every dollar spent in FA as one less he gets to inherit.

Everybody worries about the salary cap and not overspending on contracts because of the cap and we don't want to spend too much because of the cap. It's all bullshit. Even when we have space, we don't spend in any meaningful or strategic way. Fuck, we literally don't spend it.

Tell me the story about the credit cards, Jer.

why wont the media call them out, especially looking at the level of wreak emitting from the defense last year? Doesnt matter if it's Dan Quinn or Bill Belichick, this defense is horrid and needs talent desperately. It setting up to be a repeat from the looks of things.

This is exactly how I see it as well.
Question: Did we make one impact move during FA that we can hang our hat on and say "Hey! At least we fixed the problem there!".
Nope! And we never do. Over the past two or three years I've come to not expect anything different. I just shake my head in disgust. It's a signature mark of this organization. And it's because of this sort of ineptitude that I honestly never expect a championship run when each season starts.
Besides Dak's return, is there any reason whatsoever that any of you expect a big season?

anything of consequence will be limited to a possible division champion, and that's far from a given. Aside from that, an early playoff exit is the best possible result IMO. im sorry, that's a fucking joke and an insult to my intelligence. And Stephen sitting up there and talking about talent acquisition being a 365 day a year affair is straight up bullshit. We see through your transparent veneer smokescreen you idiot.

*365 days a year minus the family yacht trip that just happens to fall on the first week of free agency

That all depends on the rest of FA and the draft to me. We will see.

Yeah draft and player development is going to be the biggest things. Will Gallimore and Diggs take the next step? What about Wilson? How's Gregory going to look with a full season and offseason?

I mean free agency is nice but that's only a part of the process of putting together a championship team. And usually a small part.

I will answer one question for you.

Gallimore is the next Maliek Collins.
