Uhh, no. Gallup and Lamb have both proven themselves at the NFL level. Pitts hasn't done shit at the next level. To say what you said in confidence is ridiculous, to say the least.
But it's disingenuous to say the top players in this draft are shit because they haven't proven themselves in the NFL yet. There's a really good chance the top ranked college talent is going to be damned good in the NFL.
I don't know if Gallup can be a #1. I strongly suspect Lamb could be.
Lamb went 17 and Gallup's pedigree was of a 3rd rounder.
Neither are as good or nearly as consistent as Cooper who was the 4th overall pick-- so the pedigree seems to be holding true.
It's very possible Pitts gets drafted that high.
Pedigree wise it makes me think Pitts could be good for a long time, wherever he lands.
Of course he could be an injury-riddled wreck, too. Who really knows? This is best guess.
