Yeah, it is entirely fucked up.

I just think they just don't wanna get sued.

It is not just the NFL. A lot of companies are going overboard with stupidity just because they fear 10 years from now they get a class action.

So teams are stuck having to rely on ultra-scripted pro days. Greeeeaat.

When I saw this news yesterday it shocked me. I viewed him as a mid to late 2nd round pick.

This is a bit of a gamble on his part given that Fields has declared for the draft. It's going to be hard for him to improve his draft stock with OSU breaking in a new QB.

Should have had it done 2 years ago. But yeah, waiting on a QB never seems to pay off unless the QB just starts sucking out loud.
That’s the risk. You never know if he’ll go full-on Carson Wentz on you after giving him a shit ton of money, which sets the team back years due to the salary cap.

You can't do football business that way, though. You sign your stars (especially your QB) or you cut them loose. Dragging this on is doing nobody any good.

Right so we should trade our pick for a 1st and 2nd round pick.

The Giants, Washington, trades for their 1st pick and at least one or 2 second rounds. Washington has the picks to do a trade like that.
