I don't see any reason that the waste continues beyond the term. I don't believe any elected official should get prolonged benefits just from getting elected. There are countless dipshits that become well-heeled simply by winning a couple of elections and depending on an undereducated voting base to continue to vote the same way. Term limits need to happen with the quickness.

They are being paid like $175k per year to serve. That’s bullshit. They also get a $3.3 million dollar stipend for staff.

They don’t do anything. They have everything done for them. They get 1,000 pages of legislation, they drop it on their minions, ask for a half page of cliff notes to bitch about, then get in front of a camera to bitch.

Security is about not allowing harm to come to a former President because without protection there are a lot of imbalanced people who would try to assassinate them. Any person who has served a President deserves this protection.
