Gibson has averaged 4 YPC against the rest of the league and about 6 against us. I have to think it's mostly a fluke although it's nice that they're going to go into next season treating him like a bell cow when he's really mostly average to above average.

I wonder what the numbers would be if he had to run against his own defense instead of ours. What would Zeke's numbers be against ours instead of theirs? Just trying to compare the raw numbers of our own games is futile. Especially when considering our crap defense.

I'm guessing it was some mechanical engineer football fan, not equipment manager or major manufacturer like Riddell, that came up with that design. One team employed it and then it spread organically, not some slick salesperson/marketing campaign by a company.
