It shows they are going all in.CHANGES EVERYTHING!!
Six million for Griffen is just absolutely getting the job done.
Beautiful job. Only a middling weakness at safety on the whole team now, on paper at least.
You mean we’re not getting lapped?!?!I am homering out. In a low key way.
These are the types of signings I've been wishing they'd make for years. It shows they are going all in.
Quite refreshing.
The McCarthy Effect. It shows they are going all in.
Quite refreshing.
Swap Freeney and Mayowa and that game might have been different. These are the types of signings I've been wishing they'd make for years.
Dwight Freeney in 2016 comes to mind, he played a role in the Falcons getting to the SB and if not for a once in a generation Brady comeback he'd be remembered in Atlanta for his role in them winning it all. He was playing relatively limited snaps but he made a difference in the 30 or so snaps a game he was getting, especially in the Super Bowl before Atlanta's defense got run down as the Patriots had the ball for basically the entire 4th quarter.
Who's to say what happens on Rodgers' miracle 3rd and 20 completion if Freeney is screaming off the edge as opposed to Crawford?
Griffen has way more in the tank than Freeney at that point but in general it's under the radar signings like these that can make a big impact in the biggest moments.
The dude is on the team now. I expect you to spell his name right. Get your shit straight, boozeman.
Uh...fuck that guy. Give Griffin his number.
That's your style.I am homering out. In a low key way.
By 'out of character', you mean GOOD, right?
Definitely out of character for the last decade plus.
We will see. But signing vets hasn't been their thing since Parcells left.By 'out of character', you mean GOOD, right?
