Antwaun Woods has not been signed

Per Dallascowboys.com today.

Thanks, I came across several posts online that said he signed for one year at $750k. I stand corrected

So I guess we don’t have any interest in Woods. Not that I care, with Poe and (ahem) Hill at the 1 spot. Tough cookies for the unsung Marinelli hero. Perhaps Las Vegas is in the cards .

I think Woods is a fuckup. Nothing to do with how he played.

This is my only hope for getting rid of Crawford's contract. I'm hoping they are waiting to see how the draft plays out before they cut his ass.
I'm hoping that they're just waiting until he's physically capable of passing a physical, then they cut him. Just like the Panthers did with Cam Newton.

The only thing that makes any sense to me is that they're waiting on that to do something. I can't believe that anyone in the organization could actually be stupid enough to think the player is worth anything close to what they're paying him.

My best guess on Crawford is they want him back at a reduced salary, using the threat of cutting him to get him to accept, and right now it's a Latinx-American standoff.

What do the Cowboys have to be worried about? If they can cut him, they should. Nobody in the league would pay him even half of what he is currently on the books for the Cowboys. Not half.

Fact is that the Cowboys should have cut him last year. They had every reason and warning sign.

Seems like an odd signing considering our draft. We clearly must like the guy. I also wonder with his size and speed if they are considering trying him at safety. Big corner, good ball skills, 4.6 forty and a former third round pick. Seems like someone you give a shot to at playing safety. But honestly I don't know if he is a good tackler.

I liked this guy coming out of college. Should be a good depth guy.

Didn't he play some safety last year, too?
Someone must be a safety consideration at corner. This guy would make the most sense in my opinion. There is no real downside to it.

Awuzie played some safety in college too as I recall. They may be considering moving him there as well.
