Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like the death rate in a vacuum is the problem. The problem seems to be overwhelming the medical care system with a 15-20% hospitalization rate, which can then lead to much higher death rates than there should be.

You're totally right. That was the original thought behind flattening the curve, to keep hospitals from being overwhelmed and to buy us time to come up with some therapies. Well, hospitals aren't overwhelmed and a lot of things like PPE have been brought up to par. But some of these people still don't want to let things start to get back to normal.

Well they were overwhelmed in NYC, and from what I remember lost seemed to mention they were on the brink in his workplaces.

In the last week I’ve learned that 75% of my customers believe they and parts of their immediate family all had coronavirus in either Nov/Dec/Jan.

No tests to back it up, but nearly every customer that offers up that idea, they all say the same thing, “yeah, we all had it already.”.

Like they know they had it. That kinda seems outrageous to me. Not sure why it bothers me.

I think a shutdown was needed, better safe than sorry, but this may have been an all-time overreaction when all is said and done.

And I get it, it’s easy to say that now, if you agree, and it’s not a bad thing if it’s true.
