Of course you don'tI see no conflict there.

Pointless to keep bringing up Romo because it has zero to do with the original question. It was in case you forgotten, what would I do to establish a criteria for paying Dak tier 1 pay. If you cant stick to that I won’t bother responding. So it’s Dak’s fault that he hasn’t made the CCG, but the teams when Romo was QB?

There is no hypocracy. I was asked a question and I answered it. It was you that brought up ather factors that had nothing to do with the question. In other words, you can't defend your hypocrisy![]()
Exactly right. In other words, you can't defend your hypocrisy![]()
I understand and have no issue with that. But I’m intrigued how you felt when Romo got his. I’m fine with both getting it, I’m just wondering about your take. Did you have the same criteria back then or did what happened with Romo change your point of view. So what was your take when Romo got his deal? Was it ok for him to get tier 1 money? Or did you think it was a mistake?Pointless to keep bringing up Romo because it has zero to do with the original question. Super Bowl winner Joe Flacco is a free agent. If it was my money, the team would be required to make the conference championship game under the QBs leadership. After all why does a team need a high dollar QB if they can’t get that far and recoup some of their pay in the post season.
He's automatically better than Romo or Dak, right @L.T. FanSuper Bowl winner Joe Flacco is a free agent.
I didn’t think about a criteria for anyone until I think it was P1 brought it up about what I would set as Daks requirements to receive tier 1 pay. When I got back to it with P1 then Smith jumped in and decided to factor two of his sour grapes over my past opinions that apparently gives him the shits every time he thinks about it. Then he started his same old rant about Romo and Aikman and tries to back me in a corner about it. I gave my one criteria for one circumstance and it apparently sets off some to the point that they want to rehash my prior opinions about a different matter. That’s why I said to you I didn’t want to address it if you couched it the same way.I understand and have no issue with that. But I’m intrigued how you felt when Romo got his. Wins and losses is a team stat.

Exactly what I said when asked about what I would set as “Daks” criteria.Hmmm
Why is Dak's standards higher than Romos?Exactly what I said when asked about what I would set as “Daks” criteria.
There are some on this site that believe Dak hasn’t proven himself yet to be paid as tier 1 material. So franchise him and give him an opportunity to prove he is and my personal criteria would be for him to take the team to a conference champion game then he will have proven he deserved a contract at tier 1 pay. That’s just my opinion for him to try to prove himself. Why is Dak's standards higher than Romos?
Romo in my view was a proven Quarterback so I personally didn’t question his ability to take the team as far as he could. Obviously injuries changed any chance for him to bring it to fruition.
I agree with you, we need 5+ years of qb hell searching for a viable one so some remember how bad it can beLet him walk. He’s not the guy that will make lesser players better. That’s what you’re going to need when you’re dedicating that much of your cap, imo.
I get it, good QB play is hard to find. We’ve had good QB play the last 14-15 years and done jack shit with it.
I remember it was pretty high up there, but I don’t know.Did Romo's deal make him the highest paid player in the league? Pretty sure it didn't
