I forgot the real reason we lost, CURSED BLUE UNIS
I don't know how to reply in pieces, but it sounds as though you are blaming the players as well. Facing a poor OL, where was the pressure, where were the sacks, the turnovers? Again, SD had the ball for 12 mins in the 3rd quarter and the last two mins of 2nd quarter. And next to nothing was about preparation and leadership.
We had a play where Bryant was a freak and we had a great independent play from Hatcher/Lee.
There is a lot more about managing a football game than that.
Overall, this was not a team who went into San Diego respecting the opponent, nor did we look especially intelligent in how we attacked their clear and oh so fucking obvious weaknesses.
Working with the Jones family doesn't mean you coach just as stupidly as they would on game day.
I get it if we are not as talented, have injuries etc.
San Diego was clearly out matched today. On every front you could imagine.
Yet...we lost.
Why was that?
It is not about being arrogant about Dallas' talent.
You cannot tell me for a fucking minute that OL we faced was quality. Nor that secondary.
We just had no plan whatsoever and thought they would lay down for the great Dallas Cowboys who just kicked the shit out of the Rams.
Oh yeah. Contract extension is in order.Shut the fuck up, VA.
Garrett is LEARNING and EVOLVING.
What do coaches get paid to do?Players get payed to make plays. Blaming the coach for everything just does not make sense to me.
that was me after the half. i finally noticed the blue unis.I forgot the real reason we lost, CURSED BLUE UNIS
We all know Jerry is a cancer. But it's only compounded by hiring guys like Garrett, Wade, Campo, Switzer, etc.
No doubt it'd be tough trying to win with Jerry as GM. But no one can convince me any of the above were anywhere near the best HC's that could've been hired. Garrett's in over his head but problem is Jerry doesn't have the desire to hire a quality HC.
Its not insane. Blaming the coach for EVERYTHING is insane.Insane outlook.
If that were the case you could give Dave Campo all pros and he'd win a Super Bowl.
What has Garrett ever done to warrant such blind devotion? Its not insane. Blaming the coach for EVERYTHING is insane.
You tell me.What do coaches get paid to do?
Yep. Case in point - Andy Reid in KC right now.Insane outlook.
If that were the case you could give Dave Campo all pros and he'd win a Super Bowl.
It's already obvious you are ignorant on the point. It's not my job to bring you up to the speed of the rest of us.You tell me.
I don't have blind devotion, but I am ready to see how the season develops. I just do not think there are many coaches who are difference makers and I am willing to give Garrett until the end of this season. I am still on board. I think he is really trying to build something, which is not easy in Dallas. What has Garrett ever done to warrant such blind devotion?
Here's a hint for you: whose job is it to get players to do things they have the ability to do?I don't know how to reply in pieces, but it sounds as though you are blaming the players as well. Facing a poor OL, where was the pressure, where were the sacks, the turnovers? Again, SD had the ball for 12 mins in the 3rd quarter and the last two mins of 2nd quarter.
Again, I want the name of a coach who will work with Jones and succeed. The last two I remember were Jeff Fisher and Mike Holmgren. Do you have an alternative?
OK...good luck with that.I don't have blind devotion, but I am ready to see how the season develops. I just do not think there are many coaches who are difference makers and I am willing to give Garrett until the end of this season. I am still on board. I think he is really trying to build something, which is not easy in Dallas.
Yep. Case in point - Andy Reid in KC right now.
What does this mean? What color is the sky in your world?
Mike Holmgren. So who do we hire when we fire Garrett?
Lovie Smith?
Seems like a Jerry move.
