Is 12-4 possible?
It's likely, actually. Dallas can't lose another game and expect to make the playoffs. That Washington game is still fucking us.

I expect a motivated team the next two weeks. The test will be the 1st quarter next week. Pass that test, and they get a first round bye.

If we can't put on our big boy pants and win a home game against a team that struggled to beat the Texans today, we don't deserve the post season anyways.
With Tom Savage at QB no less. But I expect next week to be a very different game. The Texans were lights out on defense (even scoring their only TD). Luck is going to have his way with our defense. Luckily for us, the Colts run D is very soft, and they can't load up to stop Murray like they did with Foster today because we actually have a passing game that can burn them.

You guys have to remember that the Texans have competent defensive players, including the single most dominant player in all of football who constantly disrupts the passer.

We don't have that, so the Colts are gonna score points on us.

Still, we have to find a way to keep winning these games like we have because we have to win out in order to win the division and get into the playoffs.

I'm super psyched, but I thought we would win this game. Still afraid we choke against the Colts in Dallas. The only place where we're vulnerable. That being said. Tonight I'm so happy.

If you had told me we would be 10 and 4 this season, I would have said you were taking crazy pills... and then you would tell me that we still have to worry about making the playoffs with that record, I would've personally bought you a straightjacket free of charge.

We need to keep winning. Pretty simple. Hell of a season so far.

After San Francisco I was sure they we'd go something like 5-11.

They were all talking about ditching Foles last week, and moving up for Mariota because he's a Kelly kid.

Can we still get the 1st seed or no? Or miss the playoffs totally?

I think we win next week. Then who knows.

out of all the wild-card possible teams, the Cowboys are last in tiebreakers. This group includes, Arizona, Seattle, Green Bay, Philly, Detroit

Yes and Yes. Funny enough, realistic chance for both to happen.

For #1 seed, Arizona has to lose two games (3rd string QB), both Detroit/GB have to lose once (and they play each other in Wk 17) and Cowboys have to win out.

Kneejerk Observation:
I don't think the gameplan was much different from our Thanksgiving ass-kicking - difference was:

1. Execution of Dez Bryant winning 1-on-1 battles. With our offense stymied in the 2nd half, Romo throws up two hope-and-a-prayer passes that we're fortunate Dez pulls down for 2 TDs.
2. Favorable penalties that turned 4th to 1st downs. Enabled us probably an additional ~15 points.
3. Of course, getting 4 turnovers and the defense sacking/INTing Sanchez in the final 5 minutes.

My big hope is that with so much on the line, the Dallas area fans actually give us a home field advantage against Indianapolis.

1. When Witten catches consecutive passes, our offense is damn near guaranteed to get points.
2. When Lily AT&T commercial comes on, we're 4 for the last 4, at least, in getting offensive points.
3. Round 2 or 3 for Terrence Williams' replacement. I hope it's just a sophomore slump, but it ain't working.
4. Gavin Escobar hasn't made it consistently on the field by now and I think this is sign that he's not the one the coaches want waiting-in-wings for Witten's retirement/replacement.
