Same here.

Playing Weeden is exactly like the days when we played Brad Johnson. We knew we had next to no chance of winning and that getting yards and points had a minimal chance of success.

There is no reason whatsoever to send him back out there again.
He's like the opposite and the exact same as Johnson all at the same time. Instead of lolly-popping every throw, he feels the need to throw it as hard as he absolutely can on every throw. It's stupid. Yes, there are times when you have to get a pass in between two defenders that you need as much zip as you can get, but sometimes you have to fucking have a little bit of touch. But, he is the same as Johnson in the fact that his passes are terribly off the mark. He threw maybe 5 passes all game that actually hit the receivers in the hands or chest. The rest were way off.

If it were me, Weeden would be cut today.

Terrible! All he seemed to throw was underneath stuff and if he attempted anything different, it was dang near uncatchable.

You don't cut your primary backup QB after one performance. He faced a legit defense and played poorly. In 2 series v the Skins, he looked All Pro. If he's needed v Jacksonville, he'll most likely be much better.

Also, for those complaining of not running enough...

Keep in mind that we were playing the third ranked rushing defense who sold out to stop the run and forced Weeden to beat them...which he couldn't.

Yeah he looked all pro when he couldn't hit Dez in the endzone on two consecutive passes. The running game was all that was keeping us in that game. Weeden had very little to do with it. He completed a TD to Witten that was set up by the run and used playaction.

Even if Romo goes down, I think I'd rather take my chances with Vaughn or pick up a FA QB.

You mean when he couldn't hit Dez on that slant in the endzone that bounces off his hands?

Didn't show the tweet until now.
Yeah, for some reason you sometimes have to refresh to see the tweets the first time you view them. It's weird.

No. I mean against the Redskins, when instead of running the ball, he threw the the ball up to Dez two consecutive plays. If either pass had any type of touch, they probably get hauled in.

Ya, the play I'm referring to was in the Skins game. We threw a back shoulder fade that was incomplete, than a slant to Dez in the end zone that bounced off his hands. We settled for a FG.

The not running thing is pretty much a non argument. Even Jimmy said they had to take their shots at the half. He was protected well enough and just missed on some throws. I know Dez dropped 2 balls, but one was at the line of scrimmage that would have netted nothing. If any WR did not run the same route that they ran against air Weeden was way off.

Now who is talking like their opinion is fact?

We ran the ball 23 times despite being down most of the day. I haven't looked up the drive charts, but I'd bet that Weeden rang up most of the 10-pass edge over running plays (he threw 33 times) on that last drive.

Playcalling was for the most part balanced in a game where you were trailing the majority of the time (since 5 min left in the 2nd quarter) and the entire 2nd half.

Don't know what you were watching, but I saw a running game that produced a few third and longs after two straight carries. You can't keep sustaining drives without getting some effectiveness out of the passing game. Unless you think that running on third and eight was going to keep converting into first downs.

Weeden was not able to muster enough to keep those drives going.

The previous week, Romo wasn't able to do anything either.

That's gonna have to be corrected or we can expect a lot more losses going forward.

You have to call the game differently when the backup QB is in, usually. Particularly when the backup is as bad as Weeden. So yeah, we didn't lean on Murray enough.

Weeden threw about 33 times, Murray carried 19. I'd say it's pretty clear that's not a recipe for success.

He didn't remotely look all pro against Washington.

Correct, he's wrong.

Keep in mind we've run effectively against good rush defenses (Seattle) and Murray had about 4 yards per carry against Arizona; meanwhile Weeden was a train wreck.

So...

All Pro is a bit of sarcasm, but he was certainly good. Something like 4-6 for 60ish yards, 1 TD and another scoring drive for a FG when a TD could have been scored if Dez held onto the ball. He was infinitely better in those 2 series than he was at any point yesterday.

Patrick Peterson, Cardinals mock Cowboys, sing ‘We Dem Boyz’ in locker room after win
By Michael Florek / Staff Writer

ARLINGTON — Wiz Khalifa’s “We Dem Boyz” has become the Cowboys’ anthem this year.

It’s played multiple times at every home game at AT&T Stadium and the title and lyrics of the song has turned into a common phrase on social media praising the Cowboys. Jamie Foxx has used it. So has LeBron James. But on Sunday, the song popped up in an unfamiliar place: the opposing locker room.

Following Arizona’s 28-17 victory at AT&T Stadium, one of the Cardinals yelled the common refrain to the song: “Hol up, hol up.”

Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson finished the line, “We dem boyz!” and added “Yeah, we dem boyz!”
