Looks like someone has been in VBulletin and switched Schmittys user name over to Texas Ace.

I'm not Garrett fan, but I have always believed he had the right ideas in mind, but it was worthless because he could never implement them and his fuck ups cost us games.

But he has to get some of the credit for how this team responds on a weekly basis, and it's not far-fetched to think that he might just be improving as a HC as he relinquishes his responsibilities elsewhere.

We'll know for sure as this season goes on.

That's a late hit, or roughing the passer 99% of the time in todays NFL.
For refs, I definitely think the ferocity if the hit makes a difference.

A little shove wouldn't have gotten a flag, but it was a full scale decleater.

Oh, I think there is no doubt that the OL is a huge part of the reason for our success. They were destroying the Seahawks front 7 yesterday. Not just on a couple of plays. On almost every play. Utter domination.
It really showed up in the 4th quarter. Seattle's defense was tired and hurting. When Free went down I was a little worried but to see the next man up mentality actually pay off for us was big for me. Parnell came in and got a pancake block with Murray right behind him in what ended up being a nice TD run.

The seahawks are my second favorite team, I love the nastiness they've played with for the past couple of years. It was nice to see us go up there and bring the nastiness to them, this is the most enjoyable win I can remember and its because we beat what was supposed to be the best team in the league and we did it in their house playing smash mouth football. I am in full homer mode today. I almost forgot what this feels like.

ESPN is going full blown Tebow on the Cowboys win right now. I'm tired of us.

I wonder if that was against the New York giants after Antonio Bryant's miracle catch from Quincy carter.
I mentioned that game...the Witten no helmet RAC...and back to back Eagles win, one in the playoffs...as the most satisfying wins since the SBs.

It was his first game back when he replaced Suisham. Can't remember if it was the Giants or not.

I don't hear the players buying into it though...they seem level headed.

They seem to have a good balance of level-headedness and confidence. It's very nice to see.

Count me as a big nay-sayer on McClain...but holy shit has that guy turned it around, both himself and defensively.

I was completely wrong about the guy for sure.

I think he is a better all around MLB than Lee.
Wait until they both take the field as part of a unit. That will be sweet.

You mean you didn't like the intro to the segment where Coachman said "Forget Justin Timberlake, the Cowboys are the one's bringing sexy back"?

Seattle severely underestimated the impact professional WRs like Rice and Tate were. Even when they drafted a WR it was Richardson, kind of a niche speed guy. They should have been after Steve Smith or brought Tate back.
