Watched Booker's all-22 and it was about what I thought from the TV version, nothing spectacular but he did a very nice job a few times in pass protection just standing guys up and not letting them go anywhere. It was John Jenkins, a long-time vet who started the past few years in Vegas, and Peebles who was a 6th this past year, so not complete schlubs.
He didn't finish in the run game on 2-3 plays as well as you'd like but he wasn't getting whipped either, had just as many if not more positive blocks in the run game where he opened up space.
I went back and skimmed through Tyler Smith's first preseason all-22 just to see what it looked like and Smith had at least one, if not two holding penalties, and missed a block on a DT right in front of his face that nearly got Rush killed. It may have been partially Biadasz's fault on the communication on that particular play though, but seeing all of that was good perspective given that Tyler has probably a 30-40% chance at making the HoF.
Tyler was visibly quicker and more explosive to the second level, but he was also a full-time LT in college so that's not surprising. I'm sure Booker's lack of foot quickness will show up at times but there's almost no chance he busts given his physical strength, size and work ethic, and more likely than not I'm guessing he makes a Pro Bowl or two.
