Russia Invades Ukraine

Anyone care to guess how many former Soviet states Putin has invaded since 1999?

Hey, Trump could stop this "in 24 hours" if he was so chummy with Putin and could work something out with him, but he won't, because he wants to give Putin everything he desires. Doesn't matter that he shouldn't be there in the first fucking place.
Equally retarded to the “he hasn’t brought down the price of eggs in six weeks” whining is the “he didn’t end the Ukraine war in 24 hours like he said he would,” accusations.

Maybe this is the problem. Maybe you think he’s a liar because you are too stupid to understand what hyperbole is.

He CAN end this war in a way that no other European leader is willing to or able to. That much is beyond clear. His office alone establishes that as an irrefutable fact and when he calls attention to the fact that the last man to hold his office was unable and probably also unwilling, he’s correct about that as well. So, again, you are the liar here.

Whether Zelensky prefers to be obstinate and have the peace come once he’s been thoroughly trounced first or whether he’d like to be sensible is up to him. But I agree that with Trump that we should not pump untold billions more into this thing because it’s not winnable and if you had an ounce of sense you would agree too.

Yeah when you're in debt to everyone else I'm not sure how the hell you can justify giving away money to other countries.

Fix your debt problems before you go trying to take care of others.
It’s all wrapped up in dollar hegemony. We assumed this burden after WW2 because part of the deal was our currency becoming the world standard, which meant we got to sanction countries by denying them access to our money and the world banking system, etc. But then the flip side was we had to be world policeman.

That deal no longer appears so beneficial to us. The world order will be rocked once our currency is no longer the standard but that day is coming. Trump is a necessary harbinger of the change coming in the next century as America is no longer the new British Empire.

Other countries will have to step it up and the sad part is that China is gonna be one of them so better make nice and hope their citizens figure out a way to shove out the Communist party in the next generation.

Speaking of China, I'm far more concerned about China than Russia. I wouldn't mind seeing Russia align much more heavily with the west than with China. A Chinese Russian partnership in world affairs would not be in our best interest.

People who pretend that Russia is the only bad actor when it comes to fulfilling their end of agreements are probably the same people who ate paste in kindergarten.

Also, Russia isn’t a threat to America in any way, shape or form. The left has made Russia a boogeyman for 10 years because they thought they could convince a majority of Americans that Trump is a Russian asset.

Those same people laughed at Trump in 2015 and claimed he’d never even met Putin in his life after he claimed to have met him in passing years earlier. Then Hillary and Christopher Steele concocted some asinine story to help that witch politically. The tune was changed in a hurry and it’s all the left and boomers who are pro RINO can talk about.

I hope Russia wins now because I only want liberals and never trump republicans to be sad. I hope Putin takes Ukraine and livestreams himself drinking red kool-aid out out Zelenskyy’s hollowed out head while wearing one of Zelenskyy’s shitty sweaters.

What do you guys think about this attack, and Lindsay Graham basically going against everything Trump has said by saying that the Senate has cards too and they'll have a lot to say about this?

This is so unbelievably dangerous. The NATO countries and scum like Graham obviously want a war with Russia, and have for a long time. Why? Are they that insane? Do they not understand how close we are to a real WWIII? Doesn't matter how much lobbyist money you have if that happens.

How can you be that flamboyant and still win as a Republican?

Kind of telling that Ukraine did not tell the US what they were doing. Probably a good thing.

I don't quite understand how he and the McConnels of the world keep their jobs.
I don't either, but I think it's just that they're in long enough to create this machine, and that money plus name recognition is enough to get votes from the normies who don't pay attention and just vote the familiar name.

What's shocking to me is Trump endorsing this snake. (OMG, did I just criticize my cult leader?!!?)

No way did they do this all on their own. They don't even have the technology to do this without our help.

So I guess you think it's good that our military is doing things without the knowledge of the elected Commander in Chief?

Wait, of course you do. Because Trump!

But nothing says Democracy like a military that doesn't answer to the will of the people, amirite?

You think we're the only ones who have drone technology? You don't think the EU has their hands in this?

And I don't blame them for not telling us... Trump would have blabbed it to Putin immediately, in the name of peace, of course.

Yeah and if the US did have a hand in this, do you think they would publicly say so? Kind of hard to broker peace if you're clearly on one side.

Anyway, we will never know the truth nor do we need to in this situation.
