Just going by his combine time of 4 31. Clearly his NFL career has not shown it.
Even with the Colts, he never seemed like a fast guy.

He may be straight line speed, but he has never lived up to being a true deep threat, probably because he cannot run a pattern to save his life.

There was one season in 2021 with Indy where he had anything resembling true production.

His YPA on each catch over his career is what you would expect from a lower level TE who is fed the ball constantly.

If this is it in FA, I have mixed feelings.

Glad for the activity because it at least says they don't completely like their own guys and it adds to the spice of competition in camp.

We addressed "needs":

The thing is that I don't think there was much added to the overall talent.

It has been more about plugging holes on a roster spot with players who have been underacheivers their entire careers.

But perhaps that is what is meant by not using free agency to address "voids".

I'm hoping Campbell was a ST addition and they'll still look at adding a possible starter at WR or even CB with Samuel.

What kind of ST addition?

He did return kickoffs at OSU, but that is not a need.

I assumed he was a gunner or some shit with his speed, guess not, great.

We can pretty much whittle down who our first round pick will be to about 6ish guys based on position.

I think it's a shot in the dark signing to see if he can be better than the shit we have behind Lamb. I wouldn't read much into it.

Right now, I have to think Dallas is seriously considering a top WR in this draft. I still think they will take a 1 tech at some point. I think they will take a RB who can be a bell cow.

Other than that you know a corner will come somewhere in the draft as well. A trade down and a Golden/Egbuka with an extra second or third would fit perfectly to be able to take all those positions with impact guys.

This is my ideal situation. Well, ideal would be trading down a few spots, and finding McMillan still there waiting for us. But since that scenario is probably a pipe dream, then give me a trade down (or two) with us taking someone like Golden or Egbuka.

It's not trading up for a corner?

I don't even know you anymore.

They will trade down, take a CB, and only get a fourth in return.
