Stephen has always been the cheap one. Again, even going back to the days when he was pissed off that Jerry signed Deion. So no it wouldn't shock me if Stephen wants the cheap option of the guy everyone is buddies with inside the building as opposed a candidate like Deion that Stephen knows would trump his opinion with regards to Jerry. I'm sure Stephen would feel very threatened by Deion. Because Jerry would pick Deion over Stephen when it comes to opinions on what to do.

Eh, usually it's announced and they hammer out the small shit on a contract pretty quickly after. But the Cowboys do nothing quickly. Frankly I don't want this done at all so I could give a shit less if it takes longer. I guess it gives us all hope for an extra day or two that it's not going to happen.
