Oh shit, I am in suspense.
Oh shit, I am in suspense.
You can always count on Archer for the hard hitting news.Tomorrow is a new day.
I hate to say it but at this point that's what I'm rooting for... That felt gross. That's what's I've been trying to say since the beginning.
In my opinion, Deion is the best option from that terrible list of candidates because of how things would be structured under him and his relationship with Jerry.
It's the situation that has the best chance to succeed.
I appreciate that they are reporting this as though it's some exciting news we all can't wait to be announced. Like a big free agent visit who stays for a second day.Oh shit, I am in suspense.
Archer needs to drop over to the dark side, but the dude has to be hitting retirement age. He has been doing that gig for a while. You can always count on Archer for the hard hitting news.
How far along are they though?
A second interview?
They can't have a second interview with Moore until after the NFCC as far as I know. Like I said, unless they hire this fool tomorrow I don't think it'll happen. If they haven't hired him by the weekend more or less I think Moore is the obvious plan.
I get it man.... I'm in the same boat.I hate to say it but at this point that's what I'm rooting for... That felt gross.
Shit. What slid out of the crack of Mammy Schottenheimer’s ass can do it too.I get it man.... I'm in the same boat.
I made it clear that I'm not exactly excited about the prospect of hiring Deion Sanders, so it's not like this is going to make me happy.
But I do genuinely believe his is the only hire of that list that has a chance to succeed.
Perhaps although with how dysfunctional this organization is I wouldn't be surprised if it was their attempt to keep Schottenheimer in their back pocket as an OC/backup plan at HC while they continue to engage with Moore. They're never that diligent. They wouldn't have a second interview if they didn't think he'd be the guy. They might not come to an agreement but I find it difficult to believe they aren't trying to make him HC at this point.
Like some team is poised to spring.Perhaps although with how dysfunctional this organization is I wouldn't be surprised if it was their attempt to keep Schottenheimer in their back pocket as an OC/backup plan at HC while they continue to engage with Moore.
I am telling you, albatross. That actually makes me like him less.
Not really, I'm just saying I could easily see that being their mindset given how upside down they do everything.Like some team is poised to spring.
This is marketing.
Hopefully.
I just thought of something.
It was reported that errbody was out of contract.
Maybe Schottenheimer’s kid is still under contract?
Eh…eh?
Well shit. The official site says his contract expired on 1/14 with McCarthy's.
It's like Garrett after his expired. The dude has no where to go so he just continues to hang out at the building like some sad sap. Hell Jerry probably loves it. "we wants guys who want to be here"Well shit.

That dude is probably still coming in every day and working despite no contract. Jerry's dream.
If continuity was important, why not keep him?Bones, an actually good coordinator, was snatched up.
Schottenheimer meanwhile...
It is, but also, Bones was a free agent. He's been around, he probably saw the way things are around here and wanted out. Maybe he wasn't a fan of the way things went with Mike. Plus, these guys know there are only so many openings, so if one's offered, they usually take it. Kind of like Zimmer taking the Atlanta job when Parcells was dicking around deciding if he wanted to come back or not.If continuity was important, why not keep him?
Oh yeah, this is all about not disturbing Prescott. I forgot.
