The only hope with Deion is that he has two strong coordinators and can shame this cheap ass franchise into spending some money in FA.

That's it right there.

He's the ONLY one that has a chance in that entire dog shit list to persuade Jerry to do anything.

That coupled with what I posted the other day about him actually putting together a solid staff at Colorado and letting them coach are the two big reasons why I believe he at least has a chance to succeed under our current organizational structure.

The rest of that list? They don't stand a chance.

He is scheduled already I believe with the Jags and Saints for head coaching interviews. Not sure if any of that has changed. Obviously those teams aren't interviewing him for his minority status unless there is something I'm not aware of.

FWIW, Belt was back from vacation today and unleashed his damning McCarthy stories. Took like a half hour to do it.

It was the biggest nothingburger ever. It was stuff like Mike wanted input into the offense when Kellen was running it, and Belt thought he should have stood completely aside to let KM do whatever he wanted. Mike didn't like Jerry hiring coaches and looked over his shoulder at them. Mike wanted to get rid of so many option routes, and Dak loved them.

It was so petty and ridiculous. I came away thinking if after five years working in Jerry's dysfunctional circus those are the only minor things you can come up with, that's a positive for Mike, not a negative. Fortunately the other hosts pushed back against him in the next segment and IMO made him look (even more) stupid.

Yeah none of that sounds like a knock on McCarthy to me at all. I thought we were going to hear about McCarthy cutting practice short to get his massage done or something like that.

When Garrett was coach, I watched maybe 10 games in 2013 and like 6 in 2015.

And I didn't watch a minute of any of the drafts that took place between those seasons.

I pretty much stopped watching preseason football altogether for about 7 or 8 years now.

My point is, I've already been drifting further and further away from the team and only the hiring of McCarthy brought me back.... At least to some degree.

My tolerance and disinterest are even lower now than it was back then so it won't be difficult at all for me to quit altogether.

If Moore is hired, I won't bother watching a single minute of Cowboys football next season.

I never thought the day would ever come where I'd damn near have to pray that Deion Sanders accept the opportunity to be the Cowboys coach.

That ought to tell you just how bad I DON'T want Moore to get the job.

I know a lot of people say shit in the heat of the moment but I totally mean it -- if Moore is the next coach then I quit.

I'm serious..... That would be the last straw for me.

The fact they are bringing him in to do it live may just mean he is more of a DC candidate and that would be someone I would definitely have on a list for the HC to consider.
