You draft Jeanty because you're hoping to have 3-5 years of greatness to give Dak a chance before the team has to go rebuild with a new QB.

Sure you want a 10+ year player but who knows what things will be like even 3 to 5 years from now. You're really trying to give this team the best shot possible to win the Superbowl now.

5 years of greatness might not be much different than other guys. Most players take 2 to 3 years to really reach that elite level. Look at Lamb who really exploded in years 3, 4 and 5. RB is just different because there is no build up. They sort of come in at their peak.
