This is where I'm at. I'm not all in on Jeanty at our pick but he's probably be the BPA and there's definitely an argument that he'd be the right pick.

I'd also be fine with Harmon, McMillan, Grant, Starks and so forth.
This is where I'm at. I really like Jeanty. But if I had a shot at McMillan. I'd probably pull the trigger. I really like Jeanty and won't be disappointed at all. But I think we could have a better overall draft taking one of those other guys and getting a RB later. But Jeanty will be a 1000-1500 yard rusher here for a few years at least if we take him.

Since I've been watching Boise alot this year keeping an eye on Jeanty I've noticed this guy Hassanein quite often. I'd consider him as high as the 3rd but if we could get him sometime on day 3 that'd be a really money pick.

Good thing we didn't give up our 4th for some useless chud.
Guy could be a terrorist. Just sayin....

Henry college carries - 602

Jeanty college carries - 720 and counting

Just saying, it should be a concern. Not everybody is Henry either. He is the outlier.

There are more than just Henry. He was just the one I remembered off hand.

Ron Dayne had a lot of college carries...

Cedric Benson...

Ricky Williams...

D'Angelo Williams...

Cadillac Williams...

Just some top college RBs who had a lot of carries.

Tomlinson had over 900.

There are arguments both ways which is why I don't begrudge someone for wanting to go elsewhere, the only argument I think is ridiculous would be someone saying he shouldn't even be a strong consideration at our pick.

We're just still feeling the burn of taking Zeke with a top 5 pick and him flaming out in 3 years because the retards in the scouting department evidently didn't know the guy wasn't a hard worker.

I mean it's like the only real weakness to point to. Otherwise the guy really doesn't have flaws. Although the two fumbles today might make some point to that as a flaw now. But before today it wasn't.

Basically it's a concern to me but not a fatal flaw either. I just more struggle with the idea that there are other RBs in this draft that I really love. And not just Kaleb Johnson.

Yea, and this would be a pick in the teens so I'm not as worried. Plus Jeanty is supposedly pristine off the field.

I am not going to judge too harshly. But it makes you think a bit the earlier the pick is.
How early is too early?

11 is our absolute ceiling and it seems like 90% certain that we'll be somewhere between about 12-15.

Zeke was a physical specimen too. Big, fast, could cut and jump with the best. He really was the total package at RB. But he loved contact and he loved to party. So it just didn't last. You draft Jeanty because you're hoping to have 3-5 years of greatness to give Dak a chance before the team has to go rebuild with a new QB.

Sure you want a 10+ year player but who knows what things will be like even 3 to 5 years from now. You're really trying to give this team the best shot possible to win the Superbowl now.

Pick 12 seems most likely. It's not too early for Jeanty. But I have to know who else is available.
