I was never onboard.

You will never convince me to take that guy no matter how good he is in the first round with the needs that we have and as deep of a draft as this for RBs.

Plus, how many times have we seen these so-called generational running backs go into the NFL and not be anywhere near the player that they were in college?
Correct. Look how much better Henry was than Zeke.

The Pedersen Boise State teams were a lot stronger than this.

This drives me crazy.

Never understood why some coaches deliberately go away from what's working. It's like they feel the need to show the world how clever they are.
Exactly.

This game would have been 21-0 and on its way to being a blowout if not for that head-scratching decision to go away from what was not only working, but dominating to the tune of a quick 14-0 lead.

344 carries for Jeanty going into this game is also concerning.
Simp already posted a list of backs that had just as much.

Henry had 395.

It's not an issue unless he is lazy.

Being clever has killed many coach’s careers. It works for attention to begin with and then becomes something they over rely upon. Garrett was a classic case. Being cute trying to appear smart is where it is an issue.

I'm not saying it's definitely a problem, but it's enough of a concern that taking him in the first might not be wise.

It's early, but the overall performance so far is gonna hurt because it's going to lend credibility to the argument that his dominance had a lot to do with the opponents Boise State faced.
He had 200 and I think 3 TD's on the road at Oregon, I don't think there's any argument there.

I'm fine either way. He isn't my first choice but we didn't loose enough for Carter. Most likely he would be BPA at that spot though.

This is where I'm at. I'm not all in on Jeanty at our pick but he's probably be the BPA and there's definitely an argument that he'd be the right pick.

I'd also be fine with Harmon, McMillan, Grant, Starks and so forth.

Henry college carries - 602

Jeanty college carries - 720 and counting

Just saying, it should be a concern. Not everybody is Henry either. He is the outlier.

Since I've been watching Boise alot this year keeping an eye on Jeanty I've noticed this guy Hassanein quite often. I'd consider him as high as the 3rd but if we could get him sometime on day 3 that'd be a really money pick.

Good thing we didn't give up our 4th for some useless chud.
