I think the second scenario is very likely, and depending on who else is there I wouldn't be upset at all unless they take some fucking pointless CB or some shit.
I know Jeanty is the special dude.

But Kaleb Johnson had a mediocre game of 14 carries for 109 yards. 146 for 1144 yards on the year and 7.8 yards per carry. Just in case we need to look at other RBs. He has been stellar for Iowa this year.

I think he is number 2 in rushing behind Jeanty.

He would have to leave early. Think he will or come back to try and get higher pick?

He should leave. I think both him and Jeanty are third year guys. Just being realistic for a RB. Strike while the iron is hot. No reason to take another year of abuse hoping to reproduce the results for one more year. Besides teams like Iowa and Boise State aren't winning any national titles.

Iowa does a good job retaining players til graduation. But in a case like this I'd be shocked if he didn't leave. His 3 TD runs yesterday were very Henry like. He doesn't juke people but he can really explode once he gets going.

I have a feeling you will be disappointed in one of two ways. First, he still manages to go before Dallas’ pick. Or more likely, he is there ripe for the taking but they decide it is too rich for a RB.

My worst moment as a Cowboys fan that didn't happen on a football field.

It ruined my whole weekend.
It didn't ruin my whole weekend, because we had a big family party wedding with our dearest folks rom all over the country.

My brother and I were watching the draft updates that afternoon on my Treo and we headed to the altar knowing Jackson was still on the board with just a couple picks left.

Perfect fucking day & we getting that RB hoss!

Next thing I know keg is floated and somebody tells me Dallas traded down and took the ND back.

Man damn, what a kick in the crotch...who took Jackson in front of them?

Worse, the team we traded with (Buffalo) had a winning season in 2004, making their 2005 first rounder even lower. :picard
Yeah, and that was when Buffalo was bad every year. (Pre Josh Allen, of course Geng.)

Only consolation is, Parcells was in love with Spears so we probably would have just taken him with a higher pick.

What a hell of a game we've got coming up soon.

I can't say I have a lot of faith in Penn State in these sorts of games because they always seem to lose them, but I really hope they get this one today.

Should be one hell of a game!

It seems like Penn State hasn't beaten Ohio State since the Washington administration. I highly doubt Penn State wins today.

I don't think Penn State is as good as their ranking.

I think they are more on par talent wise with OSU than they have been in the past with the exception of WR, and I'm glad Allar is going to play. But to me it's always coaching, and Big Game James isn't that guy. Maybe they get lucky, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I think if they had a truly dynamic receiver, they could make a legit run at the NC. But I think not having one is exactly what will doom them before the season is over.

And what a classic uniform Penn State has.

No wacky fonts, no random stripes or patches attempting to look cool or different, just a great match of colors with a simple but classic look.

It's one of the beauties in all of football, college or pro.
