I mean I sure hope the plan isn't to make any of these guys an RB1 or lead back. They keep preaching this is going to be a RB by committee. The problem is, Dowdle is the only guy I think is really good enough to be part of a committee. The two immediate examples that come to my mind are Tony Pollard and Troy Hambrick. Both looked much better in backup roles but as soon as the lead RB load was heaped on their shoulders both of them performed much worse than they did in previous seasons.
I don't even know if we have a Troy Hambrick quality player on this roster.I mean I sure hope the plan isn't to make any of these guys an RB1 or lead back. You serious, Clark? It's bad, but T-Ham is the lowest of bars.I don't even know if we have a Troy Hambrick quality player on this roster.
He was a 3.5 ypc guy as a starter. That's all I see on this RB roster. You serious, Clark? It's bad, but T-Ham is the lowest of bars.
I mean even in college Dowdle wasn't really a feature back. It's kind of weird to say he is the best we have. His best college season was like 133 carries and 700 some yards rushing. His last season in college was 498 rushing yards.I don't even know if we have a Troy Hambrick quality player on this roster.
Shit if that's all you're going to get I say let Deuce run it.He was a 3.5 ypc guy as a starter. That's all I see on this RB roster.
I actually think he could be a decent RB. Little over 4 ypc IF he could stay healthy. He can't even stay healthy as a part timer. Still, he's Rico Hambrick until proven otherwise.I mean even in college Dowdle wasn't really a feature back. It's kind of weird to say he is the best we have. I guess he should still have fresh legs at least.
Yeah, 290 carries last year. Insane. He should have absolutely left unless he was told he could make more money with NIL than the NFL.I wished Taj Brooks had come out but now I'm afraid Tech is going to wear down the tread on that boy.
NIL changed so much. If you can make that much money playing college ball, why leave?unless he was told he could make more money with NIL than the NFL.
Henderson from Ohio State should have come out. Now he might not even be their top back since Judkins transferred there. RB seems like the position you should jump. But I guess if you're not a first round pick take the extra college money. Your nfl life is probably only your 4 year rookie deal anyway.Yeah, 290 carries last year. Insane. Yep, the longest deal you're gonna get as a RB in most cases is your first one. Then you are on a series of 1-2 year deals until you're done.Henderson from Ohio State should have come out. Have you watched Ollie Gordon much?Henderson from Ohio State should have come out. Now he might not even be their top back since Judkins transferred there. RB seems like the position you should jump. another guy abused last year. 285 carries.Have you watched Ollie Gordon much?
Yeah stud, and in his case couldn't even declare for the draft because he is too young.another guy abused last year. 285 carries.
Is that why? I didn't realize that.Yeah stud, and in his case couldn't even declare for the draft because he is too young.
Yeah, they're reaching by declaring that number, just like they did with Gregory. This is so fucking stupid.
It's one thing when it's Bryant or Lamb. Those guys are high, high level players.
Kneeland is not that guy.
