He can go see what he can get first.I don't dislike Tony, but I don't even want him back.
(Unless he's super cheap, which he won't be.)
I wouldn't mind him back in his 2022 role. The good news is I don't think he has an ego like Zeke where that would be a problem. But I'm open to more powerful options. Either way we desperately need 2 RBs.I don't dislike Tony, but I don't even want him back.

I expect a Tony D-eseqe Tony P in 2024 after taking his and Tank's new protein powder.
How about Pollard and a mid round pick like Estime?I'd take him back if he's cheap (and he actually might be), but even then I'd be looking for a starter in FA or the draft. None of Pollard, Dowdle or Deuce are starters.
Which is why I'd prefer someone else in free agency because I'd rather sign a guy I feel ok starting so that we're not desperate in the draft.

Neither is a "starter" exactly but a 50/50 split would be pretty solid.
Then we're back to Dowdle in a time share, which isn't great but it's not the end of the world. We were the 2 seed in the conference after all with that set up all year.I worry about that because if someone gets injured, then what. But it would probably work better than this year did.
Yeah and I obviously think Estime is capable of carrying a workload. You just may want a speedy guy to compliment it but that's not the end of the world. Hell maybe the midget can get a carry or two if that happened. Or some passes. Then we're back to Dowdle in a time share, which isn't great but it's not the end of the world. I agree although if you look at the Combine formal interviews, they are all big RBs. So that may already be what they want in the draft.Exactly what I was thinking. If we keep Pollard, we might feel compelled to get a "bigger" back in the draft. And what if the draft doesn't fall that way?
That's how we end up with picks like Bossman Fat.
Yeah, that's true. I'm hoping we're looking at the bigger backs no matter what else happens in FA.I agree although if you look at the Combine formal interviews, they are all big RBs. So that may already be what they want in the draft.
