Oh, we'll probably avoid all of them.
Yeah, we'll probably hear something like this: "we're ALL IN every year, but we have to keep an eye to the future"

Meanwhile teams absorbing huge cap dead money hits like the Rams make it farther than we do in the playoffs, and Denver is getting ready to eat a bigger cap hit than Dallas would with Dak because they recognize they have a QB that isn't going to get it done for them.

If we had any guts, we'd bite the bullet and treat this as a step back transition year, but Jerry thinks we're close every year, so we won't.
Nah, nothing to do with that.

They gotta keep the Cowboys making money so they need the product to be respectable.

So they're not gonna go all in to win, but they aren't going to let them be shitty either.

And if they had half a brain there'd only be two routes on Dak, extend him or trade him. He has a no trade clause so that'd be a delicate dance that I'm certain these stupid fucks couldn't pull off, but letting him play out this year and walking after the season would be the height of idiocy.

I agree. I see zero point in letting him play out the last year of his deal.

:lol

People have complained for years about wanting to move on from Smith because of his injury history. Now that it looks like we are, let’s just completely flip and bitch that he’s leaving.

I’m starting to agree with the stance that we have the stupidest fan base.
Ok NoDik…..

Tyron Smith had one of his better seasons this year because they limited his practice time . This kept him fresher for actual game action ….he allowed 1 sack and 1 QB pressure in 685 pass blocking plays this past year … so as you can see he had no drop in his production… in fact… his production increased from previous years … so yeah .. I’m complaining because good offensive tackles are very hard to come by … especially guys who block the blind side … so do some searching for facts or find a bridge to live under ya fuckin troll.

They're going to let basically every single FA of significance walk and follow that up with signing about 6 Olawale's, things are really looking up for 2024.

If you're serious about winning you can't just let 4-5 starting caliber FA's walk and backfill them with a few guys on 1 year deals and some draft picks.
I wouldn't be shocked if it's a little like LVE last year. Let them go out and keep the door open.
