I don't know what to make of this one. Are we the same old underachieving frauds, or was it a bad day we recover from? There's no excuse for what happened yesterday. Period

If the Cowboys did what the Rangers did to finish the regular season this entire board would be on suicide watch.

It'd be like if all we had to do to clinch the division/2 seed was win one of our last two against the Lions/Skins, and we ended up losing both and went down to a wild card.
And look how the Rangers season ended up.

It looks the same to me... :shrug

He edited it while I was quoting him, so my quote was temporarily showing the original gif but his original post was showing the new Travolta gif. When I refreshed the page it matched so I'm guessing it was only showing different ones for me.

There were some seriously bad calls from the refs yesterday. But, I'm not blaming the refs for the loss. The Bills kicked our ass on the ground. Losing Hankins hurt a lot. It was quite obvious.

I agree but it should be said that anytime we tried to match their physicality, we got flagged for it which was bulllshit.

All that being said, this season ain’t over yet. It’s chic to be doom and gloom here but I believe we bounce back in Miami.

No NFL team is going to win allowing damn near 7 YPC, but the fact that Buffalo got several borderline calls to extend drives early on (plus the self-inflicted bullshit from Williams) is what led to the game spiraling out of control so quickly.

Buffalo had 21 points by the time our 4th offensive drive started and at least 11 of those were the direct result of getting the benefit of borderline calls (not to mention the non-fumble) that extended drives when they would've been off the field, while you can throw in another 7 thanks to the idiocy of Williams.

As an aside, McCarthy has to get Fassel under control, the chance of a blocked punt isn't worth extending opponent's drives twice in 4-5 games, which is what Williams has done.

If you see the other team rushing to the line and haven't seen the replay but it's the first half, challenge anyway or at least burn a timeout. Timeouts are rarely important in the first half but a turnover or even an incomplete pass sure as hell could be.
I see your point, I really do but you know damn well if he lost that challenge and needed a TO later, he would be roasted. He already catches shit for his time management.

The point about being doom and gloom is that it doesn't matter one iota if they bounce back at Miami.

It's hard to watch this team against Buffalo and earlier against SF, coupled with their recent history, and imagine they are capable of winning anything significant in the playoffs.
