Hopefully, this game taught us not to commit crucial, bone headed penalties in the playoffs that extend drives and lose football games.
That would mean they read and actually tried to implement the Cliff Notes from the past 10 years. Oops.

It’s not that simple. Yeah we can and probably will recover from being “punched in the mouth.” The bigger issue is the consistent losses to playoff teams and the fact that we can’t win on the road or on grass and that we are likely to face 2 or more of those teams in our playoff journey which will start…. on the road… because we can’t beat even other mediocre playoff teams on the road.
If the ring and fate of the kingdom can be entrusted to a hobbit, we can entrust an Eagles loss and the division crown to another unlikely hero, Tommy DeVito.

Cowboys lead the league in penalties and today's first half they shone in that department. In a very bad way. Just stupid, stupid, dumb, selfish plays that cost possession time and touchdowns by the Bills. And this coach lets them get a way with it, so that is a very real problem, and has been since McCarthy has been here.
It’s been a problem before Fat Mike

If you think every year is going to be the same as previous then just stop paying attention. So if they won this game you'd be so confident heading on the road in the playoffs? Stop.
But they didn't win it, did they? Once again, confirming they cannot beat a good team on the road. Which has been the issue for the last several years. Same coach, same QB, same DC, same old Jerry, etc, etc. Until they do that, then yes, it is the same old, same old. Just stop yourself.

I still think Buffalo is one of the worst coached teams in the league. Tons of talent, but McDermid is a fool. The guy has a talent like Cook the entire year and only starts using him today. Meanwhile, he lets Josh Allen try to be the end all, with all the pressure on him, and it usually hasn't turned out well when that happens. Cook should have been used extensively right at the beginning of the year, but McDermid even benched him for 1/2 a game for god forbid, fumbling. The Bills offence has struggled for much of the year and now their in a life and death mode to get into the playoffs.
But yet they stomped our asses today. McDermott might be a fool, but he made McCarthy look like he was coaching his first Pee Wee football game.

Yup, he got the better of Fat Bastard today. But one game doesn't make him a genius, and beating McCarthy shouldn't get you an award. His history says he will continue to screw up when it really counts despite having some talented ballers.

I’ve said it 1000 times already … we will win nothing until that old liver spot of an owner dies … and hopefully his goof son has 1/2 a brain and stays the fuck out of the football decisions and just signs the checks …

Since you already know what will happen save yourself from more misery and don't watch come playoff time.

I will watch of course to see if they can somehow change history. I'm not putting any money on it, but I'm hoping shit can happen. Unfortunately, nothing has happened yet this year that allows me to think things will change. But I obviously don't believe in woulda, shoulda scenarios like you do.

For me. It’s not so much that we lost, I could see that. But a thrashing ? No.
Meh. It's all been reduced to entertainment ever since Purdy established his legitimacy in Week 5
