not really. the 4th Q, maybeThe game was in a monsoon
They lost 3 straight after week 5 .Meh. It's all been reduced to entertainment ever since Purdy established his legitimacy in Week 5
so?They lost 3 straight after week 5 .
His legitimacy took a beating during that stretch .
Purdy will also whip our asses.Purdy has almost the exact same stats as Garoppolo in 2019, he's a fine bus driver like Garoppolo, but he just so happens to find himself on the best designed offense in the league with arguably the most talented roster in the league.
Purdy isn't shit, basically, and we'd be lucky to win 9 games if he was our QB.
I can excuse the loss (away game against a talented team), not the blowout or lack of effortThis is one loss which you cannot excuse.
Purdy has exactly nothing to do with how good SF is, replace him with any of 10-15 other QBs and they'd be in the same boat.Purdy will also whip our asses.
This was a gut check and they failed.I can excuse the loss (away game against a talented team), not the blowout or lack of effort
And they will still whip our asses.Purdy has exactly nothing to do with how good SF is, replace him with any of 10-15 other QBs and they'd be in the same boat.
Cool, everybody knows they're the SB favorite so you can say that about anybody they play. And they will still whip our asses.
The simple matter is that we cannot compete.Cool, everybody knows they're the SB favorite so you can say that about anybody they play.
Not really. The rain didn't come until late in the 3rd quarter, but even after that, I'm pretty sure both teams had to play in the same conditions. And blaming the refs is a cop out, especially when you come into the game as the most penalized team in the league. Martin and Hooker being out? Boo hoo. Buffalo had their best defensive player out (Matt Milano), their starting DE (Espenoza), starting safety (Hyde), starting cornerback (White), starting OL (Doyle), so just stop with the excuses. Losing to yet another road game to a quality opponent (and a 2nd blowout this year in that scenario) speaks to a lack of mental toughness. And the last 4-6 weeks, besides the Eagles (at home of course), who did the Cowboys play that was what you'd call a top notch team? The game was in a monsoon and the refs spotted Buffalo a 21-3 lead which probably should've been something like 10-3 or even 10-6, with them sitting on what should've been a 3rd and 19 late in the first half and us likely getting the ball back.
Throw in guys like Martin and Hooker being out and there's not much to take away from this aside from it was one of those intermittent games that happens every 4-6 weeks where the run defense goes to sleep.
If they lay an egg in Miami next week then I'll buy into the doom and gloom, otherwise, meh.
Not sure I’d feel very confident against Eagles at Linc given this turd.I lay the blame on the OL... they couldn't run or pass block, and that was even before Martin left the game. Also, can't really blame the interior of the DL, the outside guys couldn't tackle, let set the edge. So, with the stagnant offense and the Bills running srtetch plays, the defense wore down.
Flush this one and see how they respond in Miami.
Hopefully we'll end up where we'd face Philly in the div round.
His legitimacy took a beating during that stretch .
I admire the fortitude of your denial. Let me know when the light comes on.Purdy has almost the exact same stats as Garoppolo in 2019, he's a fine bus driver like Garoppolo, but he just so happens to find himself on the best designed offense in the league with arguably the most talented roster in the league.
