So IMO, it should be:

3. Texas

I think that's what it will be if FSU wins. Texas fans will be pissed sitting at 5 or 6.

If Texas played Florida St. tomorrow what would the line be? Texas -17? -24?

Gonna be real interesting to see what the committee does if FSU wins tonight because there's no chance this version of FSU that would be on the field in the playoff is better than Texas.

I'm fairly certain that Texas is going to get screwed out of a playoff spot due to SEC bias. They're not going to want to exclude a 1-loss SEC champion or the 2x defending champs.

They're going to discount that head to head win over Bama in Tuscaloosa.

If Alabama wins this, then what should happen is that Georgia gets left out and Texas gets in because there's no fucking way you can justify Alabama getting in over Texas when they have the same record and Texas beat them on their own field.

So I think Georgia would be the team that should get left out.

If Georgia were a PAC 12, ACC, or Big 12 school they'd definitely be left out. But since they're part of the SEC machine this loss won't hurt them much. They'll be the 4 seed and Bama will be 3.

And don’t get me wrong: I think a Texas-Washington game would be outstanding and full of action, but I’d have a hard time keeping an undefeated Florida State out, even knowing that they’re short their QB. If anything, it makes the recent wins better since they came with backups at that position.

I heard a coach (can’t remember his name) on ESPN talking about the NIL/transfer portal and how getting a big time player at QB to transfer in to his program costs a minimum of 1-1.5 million dollars. What am I missing here? I guess I don’t understand how everything works.
