Honestly, I don’t think Dak is good enough to win the division anymore let alone compete with SF. Might as well turn it over and develop Lance.

What's sad is all it takes for a Dak extension is a narrow wildcard victory

McCarthy is a SB winning coach who knows his offense and it works. Look at Payton in Denver your QB matters and in this league you need a running QB that extends plays and gives your defense a rest. Dak simply can’t run so he’s a bad fit.
the game has changed and it’s time to change QBs. We also need a real RB.

The problem almost to the exclusion of everything else is that the QB isn’t anywhere close to good enough.

You can’t have steak everywhere and a true contender QB makes up for the fact that the offensive personnel is average.

Dak is in the Daniel Jones tier where when things aren’t going right he falls apart too.
