Agreed although I wouldn't empty the bucket here either, or against the Eagles later on, unless it was a literal "win and you get HFA, or win and you clinch the division" sort of situation. We're likely to see one or even both of them in the playoffs, gotta keep something in the back pocket.I honestly hope that McCarthy has kept some stuff seriously under wraps.
It is readily apparent that we are not throwing deep and the 49ers are built to shut that short game down.
And offensively we're just not very physical. I know most of you here aren't big on Leupke. But I wish wee could use his size and strength to block more and get him involved in the run game. We just don't have that hammer in the backfield anymore.I honestly hope that McCarthy has kept some stuff seriously under wraps.

I would hope they give him a shot. And offensively we're just not very physical. I know most of you here aren't big on Leupke. But I wish wee could use his size and strength to block more and get him involved in the run game. We just don't have that hammer in the backfield anymore.
So, I'm guessing that reading the room isn't one of your strong suits, eh?I know most of you here aren't big on Leupke.
Some teams did figure him out, but forgot about how good the Niners running game is, especially when McCaffrey gets on a roll. if Purdy doesn’t beat you, McCaffrey will. Why has nobody else figured that rookie (basically) out? It took him getting knocked out of the game for philly to win last year.
And just for arguments sake, I still say we would have won that game if Pollard doesn't break his leg.
Exactly. We aren’t beating the Niners at home, kicking FGs and doing nothing in the red zone unless our D completely shuts down their offense. Which I don’t see that happening either.Defensively, I absolutely believe we can go toe to toe with anybody. We're tough, fast, athletic, and aggressive. I think we can keep the Niners' offense honest and pretty much in check.
Offensively, I just don't have a good feeling. FG's won't beat a contender like San Fran.
I don't even know why people post this shit. He should be given the Spagnola treatment. This is straight retarded.
He’s the poster child for what it is to be a foam fingered retard. This is straight retarded.
Yeah he’s not that guy at this point. And offensively we're just not very physical. I know most of you here aren't big on Leupke. But I wish wee could use his size and strength to block more and get him involved in the run game. We just don't have that hammer in the backfield anymore.
I thought it would get some retards riled up. Mission accomplished.I don't even know why people post this shit. He should be given the Spagnola treatment.
Yeah he’s not that guy at this point.
Oh, look. The guy who named himself after a male book cover model for middle aged women is trying to sound tough again.I thought it would get some retards riled up. Mission accomplished.
Purdy didn't do much to beat us, and what he did do in the passing game was mostly a function of scheme thanks to Shannahan giving him easy rub concepts and screens to get the ball out of his hand quick. That was especially true on several of those easy 3rd down conversions you mentioned. Some teams did figure him out, but forgot about how good the Niners running game is, especially when McCaffrey gets on a roll. if Purdy doesn’t beat you, McCaffrey will.
I’d venture to say last year we had their running game under control but let Purdy complete some really easy 3rd down throws that allowed them to play keep away from us. It was pretty maddening.
I agree if Pollard stays healthy we had a really good chance to win, but even without him we we were right there. Unfortunately , we let some really simple plays by a couple players essentially beat us.
For me, it’s ok to question why this team hasn’t figured out how to beat Purdy….Jerry and Dak and any Cowboy player who will give an opinion will tell the world how good they think this team is, which is the main reason I don’t care if other teams figure out how to beat the Niners. I just want McCarthy and everyone to figure it out, because The Niners are in our way and will most likely be in our way to getting to a SB
I’m saying he’s not being used very much as a blocking fullback and that part of his game is not developed. I’d like him to get that.Who, Leupke? How do you know?
You seem to want this, is there something we should knowWho’s ready to get their shit pushed in?
