The Jets fans were actually pretty reasonable. The one last week with the Giants had a bunch of hilarious bits.

One said something about wanting to buy a farm in Costa Rica and never watch a TV again. Getting back to the land. :lol

I don’t like the hour apart thing but at least it doesn’t have a game starting at 1030.
I don’t understand the rationale. Especially since none of the four teams tonight are West Coast. Why even have a doubleheader at all?

It made sense several years ago when the doubleheader would have something like two EST teams play at 7 EST and then two more western teams play at 930EST

You know how you get this shit to stop?

Start making fighting at sporting events a felony with real consequences.

This has gotten ridiculous.

That's draconian. Most fights at sporting events don't rise to this level.

You can't just make minor crimes a felony just to make them stop. For example, you know what would make spam phone calls stop? Make it a felony.

Except we don't want to craft a society where lives are ruined over minor isolated infractions.

And, it wouldn't actually make it stop because beer and emotions make you make bad decisions and not think about consequences.

Besides we already have assault laws. Those fights are a crime and depending on the state if you cause physical injury to a person it may already be a felony. Of course the difficulty is proving who actually started the fight. Of course in todays world of cameras that is becoming a lot easier.

And then there are the lawsuits

One thing that I keep going back to about yesterday's game... During the offseason, Mike McCarthy told us that he was going to be taking the running game more seriously this year. Most national pundits and even fans of the team laughed it off, saying he was always a pass happy guy.

Well, yesterday we ran the ball 44 times. Right into the teeth of a ferocious defense, with a stable of running backs that don't look to be built for that workload. And while the averages aren't beautiful, the final product is. We dominated in T.O.P. and controlled the game from the start.

Is that sustainable? I don't know. But I like it. And maybe this does mean that Ronald Jones will be used when his suspension is up. I loves me some Tony Pollard. But I just don't think he will hold up to the whole season with the kind of load he carried yesterday. But what do we do then? Try to send Leupke to the PS? Duece? Rico?

Or do we do the unthinkable and see what it would take to pry Jonathan Taylor from the Colts?
:disgusted
