It showed in college plenty though, could just be that a power DT needs more than a few months in the NFL for it to start translating to the next level. I really think he just has an immature way of looking at football, i.e. "I don't even like football I just like to hit people".

I am watching the Chiefs game and their entire offense is at least out there for a quarter.

All I know is I don't want our offense's first snaps against anyone other than our own coming against the Giants when it counts.

Our defense can be very good, but we are being very arrogant with how it is being handled right now and that is on Fat Mike.

I have no idea who this is on. Whether it's on the HC, a teamwide coaching decision, straight from the top, or a combination of them all. I just know that I don't like it. Football is a rough sport. And one that moves fast with a lot of moving parts. They need the work together in game situations for timing and familiarity.

I don't think McCarthy sat his starters in Green Bay. So this tells me this isn't all him.

True although Carter was a top 3-5 prospect without the off field stuff so kinda unfair to compare.

I get what you are saying. But he wasn’t drafted at 3-5, he went at 9. And that’s my irritation with our FO.
My whole issue with Jones and the Mazi pick was all the slobbering and vomiting up all the realization and them finally admitting that DT has been a huge problem for years after they picked him. Yet they could have conceivably traded up to get an actual stud player in Carter and been set at the position for years. Mazi may end up being fine but I’m always irked how Jones always thinks he “stole one” from other teams when in actuality he’s just a terrible GM.
