Because the whole point of the show was to try and make Cleopatra black when she very much factually was not. So she's lashing out that her attempt to rewrite history fell flat.

I watched American Gangster a few nights ago and ever since then I’ve been wondering what crime would be like today if there wasn’t a wholesale house cleaning of corrupt DEA police back in the 70s in NJ and really everywhere.

I believe we need to begin prosecuting political figures to the furthest extent of the law. No matter how high up it reaches. Only then will our government be reined in and begin to actually work for the people.

This shit about exposing wrongdoing and sweeping it aside as if the exposure is the punishment, it’s just not a realistic deterrent. It’ll happen again and again.

The FBI has clearly had a history of not being trustworthy, every time they’ve been reprimanded or supposedly “reset”, it’s been by those in the political circle, not an outside audit.

Trump, or anyone coming in that isn’t in the club is a threat, imo. Look at just how much corruption was revealed in 4 short years. Now imagine what would have happened in 8 years. Now think about the political class collapsing as outsiders become the preferred candidate of the public on both sides.

The FBI inserted itself into the 2016 election and right in the middle of an investigation of their interference, they did it again in 2020 by hiding Hunter’s laptop from the public.

They’ll do it again in 2024. They don’t want anyone in the White House who threatens their power.

I'm not sure the FBI could illegally surveil a presidential candidate, either. Or the IRS could selectively audit conservative organizations.

A lot of things have happened the last few years that shouldn't have been able to happen. I don't think it's coincidence.

They were and are projecting, they for sure ratcheted up their hate. They didn’t stop when he was elected. They’re still actively plotting against him.

The FBI raided Trump’s home months ago to retrieve documents he and his lawyer were negotiating returning. Biden is found to have similar documents, no raid. Nothing. They knew Biden had those documents before the 2020 election and did nothing with it. They had his sons laptop that reveals their dealings with foreign governments.

The FBI is in cover your ass mode and they will be until Trump is gone and business as usual kicks back in.
