Week 9 Game Day Chatter | Chiefs @ Cowboys | 11-5-2017

Garrett is a divider. Just another reason in many to get rid of him.

:rofl

One of the creepiest and most uncomfortable things I have watched on the internet. And that is really saying something.

The Deion tackling comment has fired up Deion. :lol

So you are saying you were wrong when you claimed they won in spite of coaching then?

Here's a thought. Try tailoring your criticism of the staff from now on instead of blanket shitting over everything without reason. It actually takes away from legitimate criticism.

PS, I'm like the farthest thing from a homer. Send me to the Zone and I'm one of the most pessimistic posters there. People here seem to think I'm a towel waiver for Garrett cause I don't line up and do what you do.

Yesterday was a great game for the most part, great play calling and no HC mistakes.

But....Count me in as someone who doesn’t trust Garrett in a big 1 and done type game. And if you have to add in a 1 and done after a bye week......oh hell no.

An ankle injury sidelined Dez Bryant in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Chiefs, but the Cowboys’ receiver said afterward that he doesn’t believe it to be serious.

“Everything is stable; my ankle is stable. It’s just going to be sore,” he said. “As the week goes on and progresses I’ll feel better.”

Bryant had 6 catches for 73 yards in the Cowboys’ 28-17 victory, including a critical 21-yard catch on third-and-15 that kept a drive going in the second quarter. Quarterback Dak Prescott ran for a 10-yard touchdown four plays later for a 14-3 lead just before halftime.

Defensive tackle Brian Price might be looking at an extended absence, however. He needed crutches after the game due to a left knee injury in the second half that forced him to limp off the field with help of the athletic training staff.

Hopefully Bryant is being truthful and he'll be good to go either this coming week or next.

Sucks to hear about Price as he was doing OK.

And the fact that there is no mention of T-Will tells me he's fine, which is a big plus considering Dez is already bandged up.

I hate to speculate on these things but Dez was all smiles and looked ok on the sideline. And on the play nothing too bad really ever happened to the ankle. So I can't see it really causing problems. But you never know.

Can I get a notif check Iamtdg on arcticdiesel and thowolf9? I'd like to know if they are deliberately avoiding my requests to voice their opinion.

Notification check successful.

It looked like Dez was doing some light jogging on the sideline to test it out, there's no way they'd let him do that if there was concern that he was seriously injured.

Looked more like he tweaked the ankle, it was sore, and he was trying to see if he could loosen it to give it a go. There wasn't much game left after it happened, about 6 or so plays after the injury we scored a TD, then we got the ball back with about 4 minutes and ran the clock out up double digits, no reason to throw him back in there.

I'd be surprised if we were without him or Williams next week.

I don't know....he didn't look really bad, but he went out with pretty much the entire 4th quarter still left to play.

What I don't like is that however major or minor his discomfort level was, it was enough to warrant the training staff to take him into the locker room.

Hopefully it was just precautionary, but I'm not feeling confident just yet.

Anybody think Jaylon Smith is moving around a little better?

He doesn't seem to be running with as much of a pronounced limp anymore and his change of direction seems a bit smoother. He's still not totally there but he definitely looks better than he did early in the year when he was almost dragging his one leg at times.

He also had a nice blitz in the 1st half on the 3rd down play where Smith overshot Hill down the sideline. Romo was saying he had to hold on to the ball for a split second longer but Smith was already around his legs and if he held on for an extra half second or so he would've been sacked or had Smith wrapped around his lower body.

I heard the comment, but what is Deion saying/doing?

Just a couple of tweets. First one said something along the lines of not winning a super bowl.

Love to the defense. We finally have strong front seven play, ala good pressure up front. We can actually get to the QB consistently now. And though the backfield is lagging, they aren't letting people torch them while Heath is equal parts shitty angle tackler and lone Alex Smith pick off artist. Hats off the the D. Keep it up.

Yeah, he seems to have a bit more burst than before. I think it has really helped that his PT has been more limited since Hitch came back.

:lol

So sensitive. Hell, it was well known back then that Deion shied away from tackling. It was a running joke then, too.
